Turn the ignition to ON. Press the GAGE INFO button on the driver information center (DIG) switch to view OIL LIFE INDEX. Press and hold the RESET button on the DIG until the display reads OIL LIFE INDEX 100% NORMAL. The engine oil life monitor is now reset.. Turn the ignition OFF.

The battery is located under the rear seat cushion. To remove, place your hands in the "bite" of the rear seat-back, and the rear seat; pull the seat up and away from the seat-back. The seat will come loose and the battery can be accessed.
Edit: Thanks for this answer. Some observations for when I tried it: The "bite" is referring to the place where the seat and back cushions meet. Reach down in there, and give the bottom cushion a good upward yank. You'll feel and hear some snaps coming undone. You may have to pull from different places, i.e. left, right and middle, in order to get the whole seat to come up.

To locate ignition coil (IC): open hood, to left side of engine there are 3 IC's bolted to cylinder head; they have spark plug wires attached to them (6 wires between all 3 IC's). You can unbolt and swap problem coil with basic set of hand tools, just unbolt install rubber seal new coil comes with and install new IC.

Should be 3/8" Actualy,On the fuel tank sending unit,there are 2-(5/16") lines and the pressure line is a 3/8" line,but DO NOT use a standard fuel/emmissions line for the pressure line.This line should be a high temp. SAE J30R9 or equiv. fuel injection pressure rated hose.As for the other 2 smaller lines on the sender,standard fuel/emmissions line will be fine.I just happen to have one of these apart on my shop floor right now.I just soldered some bad spot in the tank and have totaly recoated and refinnished it.I hope to reinstall it in the morning.Hope this helps. tooldude56

My 1997 buick lesabre car is backfiring what could be the problem?
Start here: Check for cracks in the coils, to check, start the car and look at the coils to see if its jumping fire anyplace, If so this is the problem, If not, replace the plug wires. This advice is about 90% accurate. May not fix it though. You might also check for loose bolts on the intake manifold or broken (leaking) vacuum lines.
Hub cps are held on by the same lug nuts that hold on the wheel. Cheap hub caps that pop on are held by tensioner rings on the outer edge and can fall off if a curb is hit or a rough turn is made.

Do not go changing parts as that can be very expensive and still not solve the problem. If the check engine light is "on" then have a shop diagnosis it for you. If it is not "on" then the most probable cause is the air intake and or the throttle plate are dirty.
