Rent a spring compressor from your local auto parts store. This is usually only a deposit that is returned when you return the tool in good condition.

Jack the car and place on jack stand or jack stands. Do not place the jack stands under the A-frame. Place the jack stands under the body so that all of the tension in the springs can be relieved. (this cannot be done if they are supporting the weight of the vehicle)

Remove the wheel.

Break but do not remove the two very large nuts and bolts holding the strud in place. Hint: you will unscrew the nut not the bolt. The bolt has splines and is not designed to turn. Please do not turn the bolt!! Turn only the nuts.

After the nuts are slightly loosened compress the springs. This will be with two part spring compressors. Kinda like a J hook on each end and the spring will compress as you tighten the compressor. Install the second part of the spring compressor and alternate tighting each side until the spring is compressed a small amount. You will not have to compress the spring the entire amount on the vehicle. You will only need to remove the tension in the spring caused by the A-frame at the end of it travel. With a little compression (maybe an inch or so) you can safely remove the strut and spring assembly.

After the spring has been compressed about an inch or so you can remove the two large nuts holding the strut in place on the bottom. The bolts can be tapped or knocked out with a hammer. The bolts are splined so they have to be pushed out with a press or tapped out with a hammer.

Ope the hood and use a 13mm rachet wrench to remove the three nuts holding the strut into the strut tower. These three nuts are the only thing holding the strut in place. Do not let the strut fall and break the brake line or rubbler cv boot cover.

Take the strut assembly to your workbench continue to compress the springs until the tension is relieved from the strut. In other words you do not want the extended strut to cause tension on the springs. You want the springs to carry all of the pressure on the springs. Once you are sure that you have the springs are sufficiently compressed by the spring clamps you will have to remove the single nut from the top of the strut. Remember how the parts fit back together. We are talking about less than 5 parts but remember how the go together while you are taking them apart. After you remove the strut nut then replace with the new strut and reverse the procedures to install.

Trick: I used a 10mm 1/4" drive socket and socket wrench with extension to hold the shaft of the strut while using a large socket and pipe wrench to hold the large nut. The extension will comfortably fit through the hold on a 1/2" drive socket and the pipe wrench easily keeps the large socket from turning while you unscrew the shaft with the 10mm socket and wrench. There is probably a tool for this but I did not have one and this worked beautifully for me.

Also the strut assembly will only install one way. the three screws only fit one way. Good Luck All! The second shock should be completed in approximately an hour or so. The time to do the first depends upon your existing skills as a mechanic

does not have one.it has a HVAC FUSE #25 right hand side of center console.these cars are bad for burning up the resistors and wiring and the heater controll panel.heater is controlled thru BCM...body controll module..junk it and buy a toyota.

Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.

I just did it on 2003 buick rendezvous,i bought a can of fix leak,oil,freon all in one from advance and hooked it up to the lower a/c port and charged it to about 35 psi and the air blows like new.

Your light stays on cause ur pedal is loose and is contacting the switch. To prove this have somebody watch the light and lift up on the brake pedal, it should go out. You will have to tighten the bolt at the top where the pedal hinges, or like i did istall a light spring to pull the pedal back up.

It is in the fuse block under the hood on the left side in front of passenger. A black plastic cover over it. As you are looking at it, there is a 20 amp fuse that is on the left side top next to a 10amp. (that is what mine has) with 2 square grey ones next to it. I went to dealer with book (book only says acc in passenger side) and asked where is it? The guy pulled a schematic and showed me under hood. It is a 20 amp which he relpaced with one I had and now it works

It is the 13mm bolt on the front of the oil pan, just below the oil filter.

at the rear of the engine is the transmission. the sensor is on the transmission near where the driveshaft goes in. it is on the top of the differential housing just a few inches from the passenger side drviveboot.

Most likely it is the regulator, either the cable is broken or the plastic at the top broke and the cable became unspooled and wrapped around itself. The window is held in by two screws that tighten a clamp on the window that holds pretty tight so it is doubtful it is that.

If the squeal is when you turn the steering wheel (especially when you are parking it) could be the rear differential. Our 2004 Rendezvous rd had to be replaced 3 times. Every time we have had a squealing sound associated with it. I'm not sure what year yours is, but your Buick dealer should be able to check it out for you and you may have it replaced for free if it is covered under your warranty.

on an 05 its located on the output drive of the transmission. you can see the plug if you look behind the right tire and follow the driveshaft to transmission.

or look at your tire ,the last # is your wheel side in inch

either there is a rock between the pad and the rotor or you really need to replace the pads!

The front 3 are fairly easy, For the back 3 its easiest if you take the coil platform off and go from above the engine, Just make sure to mark what wires go where and you will have approx. 4 electical plugs to disconnect
