the oil pump on a 2001 cadillac deville is located right underneath the belt drive and there is a black metal cover with several screws along the rim of it and its right behind that. good luck

When you open the drivers side door, look at the end of the dash facing the door you will see a flat panel with a place to put your finger and pull off inside will be the fuse diagram and if never changed before you might have spare fuses and a fuse puller, then check which fuses are blown from the diagram on the panel you just pulled off and pull the fuse and replace, you cant miss it if you are referring to the fuse box in the inside of the car, there are also fuse box's under the hood but are more complex and shouldn't be messed with unless you know what your doing. The one inside the car should replace the lights etc.. hope this helped!

This information can be found in your owner's manual. If you do not have one, you can obtain one from your dealer or a salvage yard.

If your asking how to get it to a shop, fill it with water, bring some extra with you and drive the car there with the rad cap loose. This way it will leak less because it cannot built-up pressure plus you can safely add coolant if you need to. As long as there is coolant ,even though it leaks badly, you can drive it. Good luck

the fuel filter is along the frame rail on the passenger side of the car, just as the frame gos up before the front passenger tire, you can follow the fuel lines down to it. place car on stands or ramps, make sure to install filter in the correct direction, there is an arrow on the filter.

I have the same problem. Either low pressure on fuel pupm or one of the injectors is leaking overnight. Im sure once you get it started it always starts

Open the fuel filler door and remove the gas cap. Listen at the fuel filler opening while a helper turns the ignition on but does not start the engine. The pump will run for a few seconds and then shut off. If you do not hear the pump check the fuel pump fuse and the fuel pump relay. If they are good then the pump is more than likely defective. If you hear the pump then you know it is running but that does not mean it is pumping fuel. A fuel pressure test will verify the condition of the pump. Be sure and replace the fuel filter.

I am not sure what causes the climate control to go blank.... however you can manually open the door that allows heat to come in contact with the blower.....remove glove box.... easily done.... (screw inside glove box).... now you have access to heater assembly... there is a white arem visible with a metal link connected to it... pull the metal link off...then grab the white arm and push it over to the right completely...this will open the heater core door. allowing that heat to come in contact with blower...now your blower heat should be hot now! :)

well there no need to diagnose overheating, 260 is overheating big time. U have to find out why its overheating. Could be low coolant, a stuck thermostat, a clogged dirty coolant system, bad fan clutch, or if u have electric fan make sure they are coming on. if the fans don't come on, could be a fuse, the fan motor, a temp sensor, or a relay. With the ac on the fans should be running no matter what if it has electric fans. As soon as the ac come on the fans should turn on and stay running. if there not something is wrong.

you need a lift the engine comes out from the bottom of the car leave the shocks in place and unclip harness and then unbolt ground straps then unbolt subframe with motor attached to it losen it first prop it up on a crate or somthing to make it easy lift car off the motor

It could be a lot of things. My 2003 Geo Tracker does this, it will run fine on the road, but as it gets hot in town or idling in line somewhere, it will shut off and will crank but not start for about 10 minutes, then it will start and run fine until it gets hot again. My mechanics tried all the diagnostics, and couldn't find the problem, so I simply removed the thermostat so the car doesn't get so hot. Works fine. I am still looking for the solution, as I don't want to run the car without a thermostat forever. My mechanics are great, but say it could cost a thousand dollars to find an intermittent problem like that.

There is so much that requires power that my '97 Caddy has two fuse boxes. One for the back half of the car and the other for the front half. The Owner's Manual shows it near the transmission hump on the driver's side, but I found min under the hood on the drivers side. Huge number of 10,20 amp pull fuses and some bigger ones. I found a fuse puller on the inside of the door to the glove box, along with a few replacement fuses. It was under a cover labeled as fuses. I am still looking for some sort of master fuse as I have very little function on my digital dashboard (totally unlit, except for the various system icons). But I have lights, turn signals and the engire starts and the radio works. But no speedometer!!
