To change the cabin air filter on a 2004 Cadillac SRX, first, open the glove compartment and remove any contents. Next, locate the two stops on either side of the glove compartment and gently push them in to allow the compartment to drop down fully. The cabin air filter is located behind the glove box; remove the cover by unlatching it, then pull out the old filter and insert the new one, ensuring it's oriented correctly. Finally, reattach the cover, close the glove compartment, and you're done.

How do you Charge a 2001 Cadillac's DTS battery?

The battery is under the rear seat. Remove it and charge it on a charger like anyother car battery. The reason I would remove the battery is that if there was a short and the battery blew up, acid would destroy the interior. And burn anyone nearby. Its a rare thing but it does happen.

How do you correct the 63-73 mph shimmy in a 2003 Cadillac Deville?

Firstly check that the tyres don't have uneven wear - the front tyres might be worn more than the inside than the outside or vice versa, if they are rotate with the rear tyres, provided they have even wear. How do you replace a headlight in a 2000 cadillac deville?

There are 3 bolts (#10 metric) that must be removed, 2 on top of the assembly and 1 on the bottom-inside. They are easy to see. After these bolts are removed the headlight assembly must be pried off the last connector which is located on the fender side. It will take some force and I recommend using a small pry bar. Once the assembly is removed there is a cover that has to be opened on the back. Once this is open the headlight bulbs are visible as well as the turn signal bulb. Then simply twist out the bulb then the wiring connector has to be removed. Be sure and bend the plastic catch away then pull the connector off.

The top bulb is the low beam, bottom bulb the high beam.

Why is digital dashboard not working in 1994 cadillac deville?

Likely due to fuse failure, however it could mean the dashboard itself has failed. There are voltage regulators and onboard computer chips in the dash unit, that drive the displays. Also FL (flourescent) displays use a high voltage source that can fail. Another possible reason is that the dash light dimmer module has failed, but that would only cause the displays to fail when you turned on the headlights, and should return the displays to normal when lights are turned off, or during daytime running. The fuses in question would be low amperage, such as 7.5 amp or smaller. Beyond that your options would be either to find a replacement dashboard from a salvage yard, or taking it to a dealer or mechanic. I would not advise to attempt to repair it unless you knew what you were doing.

What can cause power loss at the fuel pump when plugged in but have power when unplugged on a 1996 Cadillac Sedan De Ville?

The starter battery and alternator have been tested but now car won't start How do I know if I need to replace the solenoid or the oxygen sensor on a 1991 cadillac deville and how is this done?

The O2 (Oxygen Sensor) has nothing to do with the engine not starting. If it will not start you either have no spark or no fuel. If the engine will not turn over, it is either the starter, battery, connections, ignition switch, or starter solenoid. Some starters have the solenoid built into the starter. Test the battery, and all connections. Remove the starter and have it tested at any auto parts store.
