What you seem to have is a press photo, or also known as a wire photo. Press photos are a very collectible, and can sell for hundreds of dollars depending on photo quality, composition, and subject. Other factors in putting a value on the photo is; was the Photo used in a publication? Finding this publication would add value. The photographer that took the photo could also add value. Sometimes this information is provided on the back as well. With the subject being Babe Ruth dated to 1932 this photo would be valued at a high end price. The Cleveland player as well as the women in the photo could also add value. Putting a story behind the photo will only help. find out who the other people in the photo are, and if the date June 12 1932 has any historic significance. The photo in general could be worth between $100. - $200. If you can provide more information with the photo it will sell for more money.

Cameras do not refract light, lenses do. Refraction occurs whenever light passes from one medium to another, so it is not something that only occurs with lenses.

I have purchased an EW-3200 model and it never worked, it did not pick up ANYTHING.

EW replaced it with an EW-3400 model and it worked for a very short time and it also reverted to not picking up ANYTHING.

You will virtually never hear of a company filing for BK before it actually happens...for many financial and legal reasons. You would find a button on your camera that says delete. There's no reason to keep pictures in your camera if you've already downloaded them. If you don't want to delete them, your computer software might have a Select & Transfer button. Press that, instead of Transfer All. Then, you could just download the ones you want.

In October, 1946, grainy, black-and-white photos were taken from an altitude of 65 miles by a 35-millimeter motion picture camera riding on a V-2 missile launched from the White Sands Missile Range. The pictures from outside the atmosphere clearly showed our planet set against the blackness of space.

More than 1,000 Earth pictures were returned from V-2s between 1946 and 1950, from altitudes as high as 100 miles.

The following applies to an SLR and may not apply to a DSLR.

It can mean either:

a) simply reducing the light transmitted to the film or camera sensor by way of adjusting the aperture so that it is smaller.

b) manually reducing the aperture from full-open before taking the picture to either

i) preview the depth of field through the viewfinder or

ii) take a meter reading at the aperture that will be used for the shot in order to arrive at the corresponding shutter speed or

iii) take the shot with the aperture stopped down, forcing the camera meter to calculate the shutter speed at the moment of exposure. The latter two are referred to as stop-down metering. One reason for performing stop-down metering is because the lens has been attached to the camera body by means of a reversing ring. Not all cameras have stopped-down metering capability, for sure. My old Canon A1 does, and has a lever controlled metal blind that covers the eyepiece to prevent stray light from entering.
