What cameras have multishot?

Almost all DSLR cameras have multishot or (burst). The amount of photo's you can take per burst depend on several factors.

1st The make, but most leading brands start off at 3.5fps (frames per second) and will allow you to do from 10 to 180ish shots with out removing your finger.

2nd Next depends on what speed your camera can write to the card before its stops taking photos and starts buffering while it writes to the card ( this can be most annoying if you are doing action shots. )

3rd depends on what format you are taking the the photo in (RAW) gives much more depth of colour focus and the ability to manipulate much more when editing the average RAW image is anything from 5 to 20 meg per shot, you are then dependent on having a high end camera and fast writing to the card. If you shoot in L or JPEG format you can take more photos per burst as there is less detail and depth in the picture.

4th You have to decided what you wish to be able to do and how fast.

The leading brands for burst shots without out going into crazy money are Canon, Panasonic and Sony.

You will also find that even camera phones have a burst setting allowing about 5 shots but the quality is low.

What makes people want to use a digital camera instead of buying a disposal camera?

Once you have a digital camera and a compatible memory chip, you can take almost countless pictures for no additional expense. As the memory chip fills up, you can upload it to a computer and then delete the files from the chip and keep taking more pictures without having to buy anything more. Disposable cameras have a limited number of pictures they can take on a strip of film. Often around 2 dozen pictures. When you have used up the film taking those few pictures, you need to buy another camera.

What do you need to take to Italy with you to charge your camera in your hotel room?

You can stop at most major electronic stores and get a universal outlet plug. With respect to your power needs, you have two considerations when traveling...1) is the power (voltage and frequency) compatible, and 2) will you need an adapter? Most modern electronic chargers such as cell phones, cameras, electric shavers, etc., will accept any of the normal range of voltages (110-240) and frequencies (50-60 Hz)...but be careful as some may not. Your camera charger should have the acceptable voltage and frequency ranges printed on the back. Italy uses 230 volts and 50 Hz. If your camera charger will accept these values, then all you need to do is to find an adapter. If not, then you need to find a power converter and an adapter. Usually, anytime you buy a power converter it will come with a number of adapters, but if not, you will have to purchase one separately. If all you need is an adapter, they can usually be purchased at any of the major electronic stores such as Fry's, Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc.

Where can I get Seattle Filmworks 35mm film developed in Louisville KY?

Seattle Filmworks film was motion picture film, which runs in Kodak process ECN-2. Normally in color processing we rely on a lot of experimentation to get the soup just right--here Kodak comes right out and tells you how to make it. I've got the formula on my screen, and it's real straightforward--no weird stuff in it like a lot of color processes have. There's an "anti calcium" which is probably sodium hexametaphosphate in water, and an "antifoggant" which is almost definitely a stock solution of 6-nitrobenzimidazole. Anyone who's developing color film using bulk chemicals already has everything in this recipe.

Currently, in North America there is (as of Jan 30, 2011) one lab that has just now started to offer full service ECN-2 processing in Ohio - Double Exposure Lab. They offer full-service processing, printing onto positive film for slides, and optical prints (true photographic enlargements, not digital scans) as well as low-, medium- and high resolution scanning as well. They process the film through the proper ECN-2 process, not C-41 with just a rem-jet removal bath on the front of the machine. They are set up primarily to cater to Seattle FilmWorks customers, but also offer new ECN-2 film from fresh Eastman Kodak and FujiFilm stock, and printing services to allow filmmakers to test different negative and print stock combinations.

Please explain why journalists tend to use statistics and photographs and quotes and statements and how these tend to influence the audience?

Bricks are easier to swallow if you show a graph of why you should believe them. You only get a snapshot of 'the facts' and it is skewed by each individual, where they choose to look..or not. Look at some documentaries about a big event that was on the news, you usually get a different picture (literally) from the story that was told on TV! why....Propoganda..which is a part of 'life'...you just need to figure out a system for yourself how to deal with it...

If you have a shutter speed of 1 500th of a second do you need more or less light?

The question is incomplete.

It would depend on the lighting conditions of where and what you are trying to capture an image of, as well as depend on the desired outcome of the image.

In a very dark room, you may need "more light" than you would in a brightly lit room.

The shutter speed will determine how much light can enter and be captured, which is determined by what the photographer wants to show in the final image.

How much do underwater cameras cost?

Depends on your use and how much you want to spend.....

1. There are single-use film cameras that vary with the number of pictures you can get out of them and can be as little as $10 or so.

2. There are a handful of digital point and shoot cameras that claim they are waterproof (all have limits) starting around $100. [Use your web browser to search "waterproof digital cameras"]

3. You can buy an underwater case or "housing" for some of the more popular point and shoot and DSLRs (or film cameras) that are not waterproof themselves, and these cases or "housings" can be from +/-$175 and up, over and above the cost of the camera itself. While they also have limits they tend to be dedicated to specific camera brands and/or models. So if you're not interested in one of the "waterproof" digital point and shoots, make sure the camera brand/model you like also has a companion housing available.
