What job could a 13-year old get in photography?
basically - none if you want a true job. At 13, most, if not all states will not let you work unless you are a model.
You may be able to find a photographer that will let you watch/help out in a studio so that you can learn the craft, but until you're at least 15, there is very little that is allowed by law.
How hard is it to get a job for photography?
Photographers are in essence professional artists who have built a reputation around what they have "captured" through their camera lense. A professional photographer is a person who has distinguished themselves through a good number of photo's that they have taken, and also has had his or her work (pictures) published in well-known magazines/websites/books/television, or other media outlets. Photographers can use either a still-image or motion picture camera. Photographers usually have given fields of photography that they specialize in, and such areas can be in art, nature, sports, modeling, scenery, etc. A good example is the Photographer that owns a business (studio) who takes pictures for student year-books at schools. Such a photographer might not specialize in one of the afore-mentioned areas, but fits the profile of a photographer because he or she makes a living at taking professional pictures for groups or events such as schools, weddings, birthdays, and special occasions. A photographer usually has an assortment of high-priced cameras, lenses, film, a studio, and fancy developing equipment in some type of store-front location.
If you are wanting to get a job at a local retail store developing film for customers that have taken their own pictures, it's pretty automated because most of these retail outlets have automatic developing machines that take the hard work out of the employee's hands. However, if you feel that you have a stronger passion for photography, Stores like Sears have an in-store lab where customers can arrange to have a "photo shoot" done where a variety of backgrounds and other "props" can be facilitated to take really neat baby pictures, family pictures, or pictures for people's portfolios. Good luck to your endeavor!

Why no shadows when using camera flash?
When you use a camera mounted flash you do not see shadows in the photo because the light is coming from virtually the same place as the camera lens. There are shadows but they are hidden behind what ever is making them. This can make the photo look a bit flat. Most studio flashes are not mounted on the camera giving the photogropher control over the level of shadow.
You see a similar effect if you hold a torch close to your eyes pointing away from them in a dark place. Virtually no shadows. The further you move the torch from your eyes the more shadow you see.

Yes it exist and you can buy it on Amazon from around $59 - $99. Better to just buy a new digital camera since it would have more mega pixels and be around the same price.
What is a TIFF in a digital camera?
I think you're referring to .tiff, a format of digital compression of your images. So a `tiff' file would simply just refer to a picture stored in that format.
Many computer software image utilities will handle .tiff, since it's a very common format.
We can not take a photo of the Milky Way as if we were at some distance from it. However we do know that the Milky Way is a Bard Spiral Galaxy with, we believe, 4 distinct spiral arms. This information enables artists to depict what the Milky Way would look like form a distance but these depictions are not photographs.
Some good photographs of how the Milky Way looks from Earth are linked to below.
How did the multiplane camera work?
A multiplane camera moves several layers of artwork at the same time at different speeds to create animation films. "The Little Mermaid" was the final Disney film to use this camera.
it is called a thermogram
they may well be in jpeg format but there are other things saved in jpeg other than the pixels of the image, such as camera make, time of capture, aperture etc that can't be controlled manually, which are essential for the camera to recognise images as "it's own", and therefore display them in the playback. I've tried the same thing with my camera.

What is the best camcorder to use in a bar?
Depends what type of video you are trying to take in a bar. If you want something that is convenient, small, easy to carry, and don't mind if something happens to it, then consider the Flip Video Ultra HD or Flip Video Mino HD. If you want something that will shoot pro quality video in the low light of a bar, then consider the canon 5d mark ii, which has the best low light capabilities of anything out there. Yes it's an slr, but it's low light video is awesome.

What is the first thing you set on your camera before taking a picture?
The answer is "it depends".
Are you using film or digital? A SLR or a point & shoot camera? What are you taking pictures of (formal portraits, vacation snapshots, landscapes, sports, etc)? What are the lighting conditions? How much time will you have to set up and compose each shot? Are the things you are photographing moving or stationary? All of these things are going to affect the decisions you make when you pick up the camera up until the moment you release the shutter.
The general rule of thumb is that the harder it is to change something, the earlier you want to do it. If you're shooting film, the first thing to do is to decide what kind of film to use. If digital, you'd select your ISO and picture style, as these aren't as easy to change as say exposure mode and focus. If you're using a SLR, you want to chose the appropriate lens for your subject. If you're using artificial lights or reflectors, you want to set those up before you even pick up the camera.
The biggest thing is to think about the end result you want to achieve -- what Ansel Adams called previsualization. Once you have your mind made up on WHAT you want to do, then you start thinking about HOW to do it.
The biggest piece of advice I can give you it to read your camera's manual cover-to-cover so you understand what all the different controls do. Then read an introductory book on photography. I recommend http://www.amazon.com/Sammons-Complete-Guide-Digital-Photography/dp/0393325512
After you've done this, practice, practice, practice.
How does the resolution of a 2.4 megapixal digital camera compare with a disposable camera?
Generally speaking, film has a much better resolution than digital cameras. In fact, if you were to compare good 35mm color film to the "megapixel" rating of digital cameras, film would rate in the area of 24 megapixels. The problem is not with the resolution of the storage media (digital vs. film), but rather the abilities of the cameras themselves. A disposable camera is going to have a disposable lens in it. Lenses have a very big impact on the quality of your photos. So, in short, the disposable camera might have a better resolution, but the digital camera will likely have sharper pictures. The operative word here is disposable. Most of the 'disposables' on the market would be better if they were disposed of before taking pictures.
