i was wondering the same idea. i am recieving a pop up for free, but it needs new canvas. rather than buying a new one, i am going to fix up the roof with a frame, and build the four walls on top. this will be an easy build because the stove, outlets, sink and everything are on the part being kept. a cheap way to side the camper is with corrugated plastic, found on greenhouse roofs.
