Which European power won control of Canada?

Once the British acquired control of Canada from the French, they never ceded control to any other European power.

Originally, most of Canada was French. The dominion of New France was centered in Quebec but included French claims to the Ohio and Mississippi River valleys. After the fall of Quebec in 1759, the French and Indian War concluded with the British takeover of Canada in 1763 and the sovereignty of Spain over the lower regions of the Louisiana Territory. France regained control of Louisiana in 1801 and sold it to the US in 1803.

How do you import a travel trailer from us into Canada?

This is a little involved and MUST be done correctly.

Driving or shipping the car the car MUST be exported from the USA. This is a no charge process. The Title must have both sides faxed to a particular # AT LEAST 72 hours before the car arrives at the boarder. The USA customs web site has specifics. When the car arrives at the border the shipper or person driving MUST report to US customs before going to Canadian Customs with the original title and have it stamped.

Importing to Canada, if the car is driven the TItle and Bill of sale or other proof of purchase must be presented to Customs. This will cost at least GST. Canada Customs has good advice on their web site about this.

If the car is shipped you will need to use a broker. Very often the trucking company will require you use their Broker, and that is cool usually. Expect to pay $200 ish for the service.

Can your 16 year old daughter live with her biological father for one year even though you have sole custody and live in Canada?

I don't know your situation, but you can do anything as long as both parties agree. What I mean by both parties is mother and father. If mother and father agree, and the 16 year old wants to live with her father for a year, then it is OK. If the parents do not agree, then a court hearing may be necessary to hear both sides and decide what is best for your daughter. Being that your daughter is 16, she will have some say in court as well.
