What is value of g brugolin painting of girl holding yellow canary with tear in her eye?
I have two Brugolin paintings both with tears in their eyes. I found these at a rummage sale in rural Pa. I assumed they were imported paintings sold at some "starving artist" sale. I purchased them because i I was surprised at the quality of the work. I always presumed they had little value.

What was the canary Amelia Earhart?
Ismael Xerox is the scientific name for the Flying Aviation Bird.
During the Cold War one of the greatest security dangers were enemy agents who infiltrated Governmental departments and would pass secure materials to their handlers. The "Canary Test" was a method for discovering these "MOLES".
When a MOLE was suspected in an agency, a memorandum was issued department-wide, with each section receiving the memo with one key datum of their particular copy altered. This was referred to as TAGGING. When our covert agents within the enemy organization monitored the passed information, they would report back which version of the memorandum had been transmitted. This would tell our security people exactly which section of the suspected department has the MOLE in it. This process would be repeated multiple times on ever more refined levels until the MOLE was isolated and positively identified.

What color jewelry should you wear with a grey dress and canary shoes?
I would aim towards light, fun colors. Light yellows, light greens, and light blues would add fun to the dress, if "fun" is the vibe you want to give off. If coordinating colors is a concern, then light yellow is the way to go.
f you want to look sophisticated, but add that flair with the canary shoes, then stick to more simple jewelry to not overcrowd the look. Simple whites, or even blacks or silvers would keep the dress plain and nice, and then the shoes would pop!
Why is a canary bird named after the canary place?
Because canaries originate from the Canary Islands.
Islas Canarias is derived from Latin Insula Canaria, "Island of Dogs," either because of the large number of dogs kept and revered by the inhabitants, or because of the large number of seals ("sea dogs") that may once have lived on the island.

Why is my trained canary pecking me?
There are many possibilities.
If your canary is experiencing a moulting season, he or she is likely to be irritated. Moulting feathers is not like a cat losing hair in hot weather, it can actually be rather annoying for a bird, especially smaller ones like canaries.
Sometimes canaries peck if their cage is too small. Your canary is "punishing" you for giving him or her a home that is too small to stretch his/her wings, because s/he is stressed. Make sure you have the correct size cage for the exact species of your canary.
Hormones may also be a factor, especially if your canary is female. Female canaries are much more aggressive than male canaries. They have to be, because they need to protect their nest from predators (and humans are predators to birds). If it is mating season, then hormones may play a part in the reason why you are being pecked.
Your canary might be territorial. It might not like you intruding in his or her personal space. Even though the canary is trained, that doesn't mean she or he wants to be bothered all the time. She or he also wants some time to him/herself.
Sometimes illness is a reason for pecking. The canary might be trying to protect itself because it is already stressed enough. If you notice other symptoms such as lack of appetite, diarrhoea, lethargy, fits or falling off perches, please see a vet.
It's entirely possible that your canary isn't pecking you at all. You might be mistaking something else for pecking. For example, your canary might be showing you affection.
When two birds get along really well, they "nudge" each other with their beaks or preen each other's feathers. Since humans don't have feathers, it looks like the canary is pecking you, when it may in fact trying to find something on you to preen, to say "hey, I love you".
If you are concerned about your canary's health or behaviour, visit a specialist, such as a bird trainer, bird breeder or a vet.
I also recommend purchasing a book on bird behaviour.
Will canaries lay eggs if there is no male?
no not really.
Well, I do know that there is a particular kind of fish that, when the need is really high, a female can change itself into a male (with male genitalia), mate with the female and therefore lay eggs. However, this only suits the question when the transsexual fish is to be considered a female.
I'm not too sure but I have heard that it had something to do with the lord of London.
What is the canary yellow substance formed in the confirmatory test of phosphate ion?

Why do baby canaries die after 10 days?
They usually don't , If they do there could be many reasons.
Perhaps the mother is not feeding them enough or the father rejects them. It's not abnormal to have one or two babies die out of a clutch of eggs. Some get less nutrition than the rest and die from the others weight crushing them.
If they all die something is really wrong. You may not be supplying the parent birds with the correct foods. No matter how good the mother or father may be at the end of the day they can only feed the youngsters the food you give them. I breed birds and it's something I'm very careful about. Imperial440
Also remember that like all babies, they need to be kept warm and out of drafts. It's very easy for birds to "catch cold" even when they are older.
