How do you get candle wax residue out of candle jars?
Either step will help you recycle your candle jar and or get the wax out.
1.Depending on what type of wax was used by any candle company or candle provider, all you have to do is light the candle and let it burn all the way down until there's little to no wax left in the very bottom of the jar, however by this time the wick is also pretty much gone. After you light the candle and it get hot or heated you can remove the wax out of the jar with a spoon (immediately after you have blown the candle out)then you wash the jar with hot soap and water and it should come right out for you. Also you can pull the wick tab out as well. Just get some tweezers and pull it straight out or any other tool that will grasp the wick tab that is left. When making soy candles I used soy wax and soy wax cleans right up with hot soapy water after being burned down or for a while.
2.In most cases you can also light the candle if a lot of wax is left or half of jar. Let it stay lit for about 3 hours at the most and pour the wax out while it is still in a liquid form. Again do this after you blow the candle out. Then pour the liquid out in the trash bag. Immediately add soap and hot water in the jar and wash the jar out with a towel or paper towel.
3.Another step you can take if the above is too much. Grab a pot, fill it up with water, sit it on the stove top and let it get warm/hot, but not boiling hot, grab the jars and just sit them in the hot water and the wax will melt from the bottom up.
In most cases the wick will come up as well, once fully liquid just pour all of the wax out and wash with hot soap and water to remove left over residue.
Don't pour the wax down the drain, pour in a nearby trash or garbage bag.
How do you get your three wick candle to burn even?
Remove some wax and re-burn the candle to level out the wax melt.
When the candle wax is solid, carve out a "moat" from the wax, around the circumference of the candle, by running a knife (or spoon) around the edge of the glass. Depending on how short your wicks have gotten, make your moat about 1/2" deep by 1/2" wide (for a 4" diameter candle). It doesn't have to be pretty; it'll all smooth out when re-burning.
Next, scoop out the wax berms between the three wicks and in the middle of the candle. Depending on how shallow your wicks have gotten, you could go 1/4" to 1/2" deep here.
Then relight the candle and let it burn for several hours until the wax has re-leveled itself. You can help it along by gently tilting the candle in a circle after about an hour of burn time.
Repeat as needed.

In the combustion reaction, fuel and oxygen are combined and repaired into water and CO2. The water becomes steam in the air and it and the carbon dioxide both put out the fire together.
It simply depends on where on the body it lands. Obviously such as sensitive areas as the eyes, nose, and mouth it may be harmful. But if it comes in contact with the skin on the hands, arms, or legs, most likely nothing will happen. Personally, as a child I would play with candles and let the wax fall and dry on my hands for fun. However, if excessive wax is on the skin, it may cause 3rd or even 2nd degree burns. Hope this helped.
