It is best to wait until the kittens have their eyes open before bathing.The mother will keep them clean. The mother can bathe a few days after giving birth. Make sure you totally dry her before putting her back with the kittens to prevent them from getting wet and chilling. When the kittens can bathe make sure you dry them completely before returning to mother to keep them from chilling.

The cat may have fleas. Check by collecting some scurf from its coat on a piece of white paper. Dampen the scurf slightly, if any of it turns reddish, the cat has fleas. I don't know of a home remedy. Ask in the drugstore or, better still, ask a vet. If it's not fleas the cat might have ringworm. This needs professional treatment. Skin allergy to flea faeces may be the cause of persistent scratching which can result in bleeding and the formation of scabs. A good quality tubed-ointment type flea-killer applied once per month to the nape of the neck has been known to effect an almost overnight cure from this very distressing condition.

They usually come in packets, from the freezer department, or take away stores. It should be able to. Kittens are usually beginning to take an interest in their mother's food at this age. The best food to feed them is good quality wet food, mashed up and mixed in with a little kitten milk (never cow's milk) or water if need be to entice them to eat. You can even try and see if they will lick a tiny bit off your finger or off their paw.

The Cat's pupils dilate a lot more than human's which allows more light to enter so they can see in darkness better. In absolute darkness they won't be able to see.
