I personally would not give a horse celery because a lot of celery has very tough strings in it that get slimy when wet. I would be concerned the strings would either choke the horse or get caught up in their gut. Horses have very complicated and delicate digestive systems. There are many other healthy treats you can give your horse, the standard apples, carrots, etc. but also occassionally add turnips, lettuce, etc.
