Any GM 350 small block head will fit. It all depends on what you want the engine to do. Stay away from aluminum heads if they get to hot they can warp.

If we are talking about a genuine Olds engine, it will not interchange with any other GM 350 engine. There are some pretty good heads available from Edelbrock.

Yes, it will bolt up. As long as you have a metric 200 or a turbo 350 your cross member should also be ok. The only issue you may have is that a 700r4 has a lock up torque converter. If your current ECM supports that you are fine. If not you either need to buy a non lock up converter for it or use an aftermarket kit for the lock up feature.

Depends on what engine you are asking about. Most should idle (fully warmed up) at at least 15 psi. General rule is 10 psi for each 1000 rpm. I personally like to see at least 40 psi running down the road.

I'm going to assume you mean into a rear wheel drive car. You need to get the correct motor mounts....a different transmission as the 60 degree V6 trans won't work. You'll need a larger radiator and finally ALL the wiring and computer from the 305 TBI engine. You are looking at a long and expensive job. Good luck with it.

Primarily the bore size. The 305 has a bore of 3.74 and the 350 is a 4.0 bore. They share the same stroke on the crank. And no, you can't bore a 305 to a 4.0 bore.

From #1 TDC, you can adjust 1, 2, 5, & 7 intakes, and 1, 3, 4, & 8 exhausts. Rotate the engine one revolution for #6 TDC, and do the rest.

Loosen each rocker nut until there is backlash in the pushrod, then tighten to zero backlash plus 1/2 turn of preload.

Radiators are "sized" two ways. Actual, physical size, and, by how many rows, or cores, it has. The newer aluminum stuff, is pretty small, and efficient. Summit, or Jeg's, for example, have many brands, and can help you here.

A .030 bore alone wouldn't add enough horse power to even feel. Now, add flat top pistons, a good cam, headers, maybe a decent set of heads and carb you'd see improvement. But if you added that to a stock bore 305 you'd see the same results.

You have to put it on the trans input shaft 1st & keep it at a slight downward angle to keep it from falling off. Then mate them (trans/block)& hand thread bolts-block. Then line up holes convertor/flex & put 1 bolt through to keep them that way (turn convertor if needed). Fully tighten bell housing, then you can turn crank bolt to get the other 2 in. If you attach to flexplate first, it will be hard to get trans on & may damage input shaft. It's much easier to turn converter on trans.

you shouldn't need it on the gasket, but a little dab on each corner where the gasket meets the seal would be a good idea.

Sounds like vapor lock. The fuel in the line to the carburetor is vaporizing before it enters the engine.

Not a good idea. 350 heads will lower compression to 7 to 1 or less.

Typically there will be a cap on one of the valve covers.
