and have a very big 1 barrel i tried a 500 cfm 4 barrel and it JUST barley ran it was struggling so hard had to open the secondaries to get out in traffic and that destroyed the gas millage Now i have a 600cfm on it and if you keep you foot out of it it will get 20 miles per gallon on the highway. i never got past 15 mpg with 500 no mater what. it just would not let enough air in the engine. i was wrong about the 500 cfm carb. i thought is was a 500 when i bought it off eBay it was really a 470. THAT will not let enough air in.
