Will a transmission from a 1993 G20 Chevy van fit in a 1989 G20 Chevy van?
[No it will not the only reason is the 4L60E transmission in your 93 was manufactured with a wiring harness that is different. The only vehicle it was manufactured for was the 93-94 g20 sport van 4.3 v6 no other! yes it will bolt up and move the vehicle, but you will not have use of speedometer which will not allow the transmission to shift, thus ruining the transmission.]
You are incorrect about a few things. First of all, the 4L60E was installed in ALL GM G-series vans from 1992-1996 and possibly later. It was not only installed in 93-94 Vans with the 4.3. Second, it is not the speedometer that would be the main problem. It would be the overall control of shifting, which is controlled by the ECM. In 1989, the transmission (700R4, most likely) also had a TV cable, which aided in shifting and it was partially controlled by the ECM. The 4L60E is completely electronically controlled.
There are kits to install a 4L60E in older vehicles and it is such an improvement over the 700R4 that it is worth the added expense for the computer kit..

How do you change the fuel pump on a 1990 Chevy van G20?
Your fuel pump on a G series Chevy van will most likely be in one of 3 locations.
If it is a mechanical pump it will be located on the engine block. 2 mounting bolts bolts and a fuel line in and out will be seen. If you feel spring load resistance on the pump lever when you try to replace it just rotate the engine to where the cam is not pressing on the lever.
If not it is most likely located in the top of the fuel tank or mounted on the frame rails.
Just trace the fuel lines backwards and you will find it.

How do you remove factory radio from a 1995 Chevrolet g-20 van?
Remove bezel surrounding the radio. It is held in with clips that will release if pulled forward. I used a plastic flat bladed putty knife. Once bezel is removed it will reviel 2 screws on far right and far left, remove these.
Now we are going to remove the glove box/ash tray panel to expose a bracket that is holding the radio in place. Top of panel open ash tray door and observe above it 2 phillips head screws. Remove these. Now to the bottom where you will find 2 more phillips head screws (below the glove box door). Remove these as well.
Look into area below radio and on the right side of radio there will be a bracket attached to the radio extending to well behind the radio. Remove the bolt from the far back wall and now the radio can be removed by pulling it forward.
Well I don't have a book for the fuild specs, but the most common thing to do would be to add 3 quarts and check it, then just add 1 quart at a time until it reaches the dipstick on the full mark. Now you are gonna want to start it and let it set there and run until its up to normal operating temperature.(While you wait for this, it would be a good time to look for leaks) After it gets to normal running temperature check the tranny fluid with the motor still running, you will propably have to add more because some of the fluid has now went into the tourq converter and tranny lines, Just add fluid until it reaches the full mark on the dipstick and you should be good to go.

How do you change brake light bulbs on 1995 Chevy G-20 Van?
Look at the tail light cover. There are four screws holding it in place, one at each corner. You'll most likely need a t15 screwdriver to take them out.
Then, you take the cover off, and find the burnt-out bulb, and take it to somewhere they sell them, and get an identical one.
Sometimes, a bit of corrosion can get in, and then the bulb won't make contact. Usually if you scrape it off, your bulb will work again.
