there is a funnel you can buy that rests on top of the fill neck sealed. you fill it up, turn the car on let it run till it's warm and all the air will travel to the top of the system and exit atop the funnel, but i think this funnel is only available to mechs.

There are 4 hold down screws that you push down on and twist to take the cap loose, get your new cap and replace the wires into the new cap exactly the way they are in the old cap, take the old cap off and put the new cap in place and twist the cap just a little until you feel it seat and then push down on the screws again and twist until they lock under the base of the distriburetor.

well first off i must say unless you have an awful Carb , i would stay with a carb instead of fuel unjection but it does have its benefits as far as a quicker response and ext. but as far as pricing goes its a wide variety really i mean what size cfm? multi port? i know an old Iroc would work, if i had to take a shot at it i would say around $1500 theres a place called Painless and they have a Painless wiring kit you can buy its really great , its not alot of work if you know what your doing but there is alittle bit and of course it has its pros and cons.

I would almost bet it's the directional light switch in the steering column. Do they not work when you step on the brake pedal also? I'd put my money on a faulty ground at one of the turn signal lights. Watch the bulb when you turn on the turn signal with the headlights OFF. If both filaments are glowing in any bulb, it doesn't have a ground.

you can make it a 383 stroker,add a bigger cam,its like a 307,its got a 283 block with a 327 cam that makes it a 307,you can't do much more to the 307 to get more power,because it has a short bore,you have to find other ways to get some power,its bored pretty much close to the max.

There are all kinds of mods that you can do to get more power.

A 383 stroker can be a 350 block with a different crankshaft and pistons, giving it more stroke, making tons of torque.

A 283 block with a 327 crank ends up being a 333 after a .010 oversize bore.

I believe you can make a 377 out of a 350 with a different crank and pistons too.

377 is the best of both worlds, meaning toy get more stroke, giving more torque, and you can also run it at high rpm for more HP.

This is normally done with a 400 block but I am pretty wure that it can be done with a 350 block also, just a different combination of parts.

I used 66, 67 Chevelle buckets in my 64. I know camaro buckets will fit, as well. The factory put buckets in the SS version of that car, so the restoration companies will offer a replacement. The ever popular GTO buckets will fit, as well a s firebird. If you want a bench, I cannot advise you on those.

Yes. That body style came with a big block version from the factory. Also, remember that your Nova, is the same as a 67, 68,and 69 camaro, which could end up saving you some money, as Camaro parts are more plentiful.

Do you have a good transmission cooler (if automatic)?

Do you have a good cooling system?

How are the tires?

Is the rear suspension sagging?

Are the brakes in good shape?

If YES, and a proper hitch is installed by a competent mechanic, they are good for around 2000lbs. Trailer brakes would be highly advised for anything over 1000lbs.

If any of the above aren't in good shape... get it fixed! :)

Just criss-cross on the bolts and don't tighten them all in sequence, just like tightening lug nuts on a wheel.
