it comes from the water cycle. the sun heats up some water ( in the sea, a river ect.) and the water evaporates ( the water turns in a gas) and the gas is called water vapor. then the gas goes high in the atmosphere ( convection ) then the water vapor cools down and condenses ( gas turns into a liquid ) and turns into a cloud. then the wind blows the cloud ( usually over a mountain ) and the cloud precipitates ( rain, snow, hail or sleet happens ) then the water forms rivers, streams, lakes, ect. some of the water seeps into the ground this is called ground water. ( some water just comes back to the sea or place it was) then it all happens again...

Yes, but not from the visitors. Most zoos have strict policies concerning the visitors tossing anything, including food to the animals. Some zoos have food they will allow you to feed to certain animals. As in feeding the birds seed they supply, or Elephants peanuts you get there. But most animals are on diets that are adapted to help each species stay healthy. Usually the keeper measures the food, supplements and vitamins according to the animals levels of activities, their breeding status, gender, and any immediate plans for the animals, while taking into account other factors such as the season, and the weather. Plus the keepers track the food the animals do consume to help determine their health. That would be flawed information if the visitors were feeding the animal. It is unlikely that all the forests will ever be gone. Much of the world is covered with forests, and even though some of these have been over-harvested, in many countries there are requirements for replanting trees after logging. The forests continue to grow and to renew themselves as well.

Rain forests come in two varieties. There are tropical rain forests which are warm, and boreal rain forests which are cold in the winter (but still warm in the summer). Forests, by definition, have lots of trees, and consequently, not that much grass - the trees block out too much sunlight for optimal grass growth. Grass grows better on plains, in meadows, etc., not in forests.

Plants cope with all the rain they get in Rainforests by taking all of the water they need for themselves and leaving the rest for the animals. A good example of a plant which is good at coping in rainforests is a Bromeliads plant. The Bromeliads plant can hold gallons of water for itself and it also takes the water for the insects and creatures which can live inside this plant. The Strangler plant uses the rainwater to get stronger so that it can strangle nutrients out of other plants, they grow at ground level and they receive all the light and nutrients. Animals may die in the rain they get in the rainforests and this is good to a plant named the Saprophytes. This can decompose animals after their dead within 24 hours. Lastly Prop Roots only can grow in wet and muddy soil at the water's edge which is like tides or floods. Trees need these to stabilize the tree.

Well, As for animals , cows, cats, dogs, and wild Ox dont live in the tropical rain forest because of what surrounds them. They are not able to defend themselves.

Leopards are not in tropical rainforest areas, but in African forest and grasslands. The adaptations are with the color of their coat depending on where they are. Lighter shades in more grasslands and darker in forests. Even the spots change. East Africa spots are round while the southern Africa spots are square.

In the United States there are tropical rainforests in Puerto Rico and Hawaii.
