There is a plastic piece inside the gear shift console that breaks and makes it impossible to move out of park without special effort. Do not try to force the gear shift or you will just make things worse.

They will likely make a clickety clackety sound when steering wheel is in full lock and car is moving either to right or left.

Loosen the bolts that are holding down the plastic intake manifold. The cam sensor is located on the right side front of the head as you are standing at the front of the car. Remove the bolt holding the old sensor and remove. Pull the red plastic piece out of the wiring connector, disconnect the plug. Replace with the new sensor and tighten all the bolts you loosened and replace the plug. Do not remove the paper that is on the end of the new sensor, it is a spacer and will be removed when the car is started.

Raise the front of the car up and support it safely. From underneath, drain the radiator, then remove the lower hose from the engine outlet. Remove the engine outlet, and the thermostat is inside.

According to what I'm reading, DIY programming isn't a feature available on that vehicle, and you'd need to have an OBD diagnostic tool hooked up to access the keyless entry module in order to do it - and I'm not talking about the kind you'd get at Auto Zone. When I do them, I use a Snap-On Modis.... feel free to look up the price on those if you're thinking of buying one. I typically charge customers $50 for programming their key fob... dealerships will charge one hour labor minimum, so expect them to charge $100 - $150 for it.

My 2005 Pacifica wtih AWD Ltd edition gets around 11 mpg!! Just replaced EGR valve and saw improvement to 17 for a short period. Towed my boat 400 mile trip and got 8.3/!! Boat and trailer weigh 2800 lbs. I really like this car except for the really poor mileage. Also, had to replace the motor mounts at 66,000 miles (same time as EGR valve). I can't help think there is a PCM problem but it does not show any codes when I scan it.

You have to remove the alternator and the oil dipstick tube (put a plug in the dipstick hole to keep antifreeze from getting in the oil) then remove 3 bolts from the thermostat housing (on the side of the block behind the alternator) put the new thermostat in with the spring entering inward (into the block) and with the air bleed hole straight upward and re-install alternator etc. in reverse order of removal.

You need to remove the panel from in front of the passenger side front tire to access the battery. You will also have to remove the air filter housing to get at the battery hold down so you can remove the battery. Hope this helped.
