Then the seat back can be removed in a similar manner. You will then see a round cover on the floor with a number of screws. Remove this cover to access the top of the fuel tank. Use a BRASS punch to rotate the locking ring and then remove. You can then remove the fuel level sending unit and fuel pump as one unit.

How do you replace the timing belt on a 1996 Chrysler LHS?
You can buy the belt at any auto surplus store for around $20 or less. Look at the dimensions under the hood to see what you are doing. Locate a long screw you can get to under the hood. (Need assistance) have somebody else tap the screw from under the car to loosen the pulley. Switch belts and screw back into place and you are set!
How do you replace the cooling fans on a 1999 LHS?
There are two ways, each with benefits. The first is to locate the four mounting bolts of the fan shroud on the back (engine side) of the radiator, remove them, disconnect the electrical supply to each of the fans and wrestle the shroud containing the fans out of the car. It may be necessary to loosen the belt tensioner and move the serpentine belt out of the way. I have done it like this, but getting to all of these shroud bolts can be frustrating. The second way is to drain the radiator from the petcock located on the lower passenger side of the radiator, remove the radiator hoses (being careful when coolant wants to drain from the hoses still attached to the block), remove the transmission cooler lines, remove the four mounting bolts securing the radiator to the frame and lift the entire unit out. Remove the fans and shroud and replace. These two methods are close, because the shroud bolts can be difficult to get started once they are out while everything is still in the car. Irregardless of which method you choose, be very careful of things bumping the radiator as it is easily damaged.
How do you get rid of the moisture in the headlight of your 1999 Chrysler LHS?
I am not clear of where the moisture is located??? Did you take the assembly off to let it dry out? take a blow dryer maybe, What type of bulb is it? A large one or one of the smaller one that clip in?? you will likely have to take the headlight assembly off and go from there... Does this moisture bother you? IS there a crack in the light? Can't see how the moisture would get inside a bulb??? Please reply...
It was alot of work but someone told us that there was a vacuum hose attached that sometimes gets clogged with spider webs and bugs...sure enuff after alot of work to get to that hose, it was clogged with spider webs and as soon as it was cleaned out the water slowly evaporated...the glass is still a little foggy but it looks alot better..thanx

Remove the transmission oil pan. CAUTION the pan has no oil drain meaning that if you remove the bolts and hit the pan five quarts of fluid will come out. There is no gasket on the pan it is sealed with silicone.
