The brake light : ampule P21/5W (brake and night light).

Remove the dressing defers of the boot by removing the pawns, pull out the optic block according to 2 marks then the ampule!

If the light you are refering to is the one on the spoiler of a C3, then it is actually easy to change that bulb. You open the boot lid and you will see on the top that there are two holes. U then have to look inside them and you will see metalic clips. You simply use a flat screwdriver and just gently press whilst pushing upwards. You do the same even on the other side. You can then close your boot lid and you will see that the place where the bulb is, is out. You then just slide the old bulb out. You then push the new one in and then you are done. Now to return the bulb holder you do that with the boot lid still closed. You just simply put one side in first and then you gently push the other side. You will hear a little snap and you will know that it is in place. You can also test it by trying to pull it out. Basically that's it. Please inform me and dont hesitate to ask if you do not understand.

Remove star shaped screw on side of panel by door latch and then pop casing off from where it meets the window. Panel is held in with popable clips so can be pulled off so far to enable access into door and handle mechanism. If changing door handle another star shaped screw will need removed from where handle for inner door is

You need to remove the battery and bracket then you will see a black Plastic thing and that is where you can top up the oil

The fuel pump relay switch can be found mounted to the outside of the gas tank. The relay switch is next to the fuel line.

Had the same prob for a couple of weeks. in the end i just waggled the wire loom under the front passenger seat and also tilted the seat backwards and forwards a couple of times. I think the prob. maybe in the side airbag.

Hi climb under the front of the car with a pair of pliers, reach up and pull the release.

This is an absolute doddle. Around the hand brake handle is a piece of plastic trim that pulls off easily. Slide this off the hand brake and underneath you will see a small nut on the drivers side of the handbrake mechanism, I believe it is a 10mm nut. Simply use a socket to make the adjustment. I would recommend doing this on a very flat surface and in gear with the engine off obviously. Slacken off the handbrake to the position where you think it should stop and then tighten the nut. When finished just pop the plastic trim back on. Takes about 2 minutes!

A difficult job due to access problems. Some mechanics begin by removing the bonnet. Then remove wiper arms (may require 2 leg puller to pull off taper) (16mm hex nut). Remove plastic engine top cover. Access to filter which is behind engine requires removal of plastic rivets which secure sound insulation (be careful, there are push clips to the rear underneath as well which need to be removed also). Undo 2 T25 screws which secure brake fluid reservoir. Move reservoir towards battery side and secure to bonnet hinge using string or shoelace. Remove plastic crossbar in front of windscreen by undoing 10mm hex bolt on battery side of car. Pull bar slightly forwards and move towards battery side of car, enough to disengage lug. Remove lower windscreen trim by lifting up from clips. take care, this job is difficult and tedious. Remove air inlet trunk by undoing M10 bolt on chassis rail behind head light on battery side. Rotate air duct slightly anticlockwise and disengage. Remove 3 approx 4mm Allen head screws from top of air filter box, behind engine (left hand screw requires lift up fuel line fitting from top of engine). After disengage trunking, you need to remove 3 torx screws from air box outlet pipe (underneath screw hard to access and requires flex screw driver or wobble bit ;take care with O ring). Lift up top of air box, remove filter and replace after vacuuming and brushing to remove all dust and dirt. Installation is a reverse of the disassembly procedure. Take care in installation as lower windscreen trim is easily broken. While removed, a good idea to replace pollen filter which is located to the left of and behind the air cleaner box on the front wall of the cabin. After pulling the cover forward, slide filter forwards and clean or replace. Also a good time to renew cartridge fuel filter if due. Recommend glue with silastic a Ryco A32 air filter or equivalent on to the air horn behind the battery side head light, which is the cold air entry area. It fits well with a minimal trim of the forward part of the plastic cover (scissors and sandpaper) and removes the need for further original filter changes as it can simply be removed and replaced every 15 000 kms. Make sure u glue a thin plastic or aluminum plate over the distal end of the filter to prevent unfiltered air entering. You now have a double air filtered engine and do not need to spend excessive amounts of time or money changing your genuine air filter next time. All of the above works for the similar 1.6 HDI Peugeot 307 or 308.

Normally 32lbs is best, but in your driver side door panel it should say on the sticker.

I have a 2005 1.4 diesel. Fuse is GREEN 30a , located underneath glove box, pop open the black lid. (Book said it was a yellow 20a which also did interior light and number plate light)

you will need to plug in an obd diagnostic scanner to read the fault codes then clear them which will turn off the light

To reset the service light on your vehicle is a straight forward procedure. Ignition off , Hold down the left dash button with the 000 s on . Whilst holding the button turn on the ignition and watch the display count down to 0 . Turn ignition off then on again and there you have it. Magic. Obviously this should be done in conjunction with a routine service to insure your car is safe reliable and legal . == ==

Replace front sidelight bulb on Citroen C4 how to?

There are 2 Fuse Boxes on the Citroen C3 one in the glove box and the other under the bonnet, next to the battery.

the relay is behind and above the battery, you will see two heavy wires - one red and one orange coming out of it.

The C2 1.6VTS is an INTERFERENCE engine and thus BENT valves are very likely in the event of the Cambelt breaking. Replacement Intervals are therefore recommended at strictly 40,000 Miles/60,000klms.

A Qualified Technician should be able to replace the Job in 2.5 hours and would definately replace the BELT, the TENSIONER & the WATERPUMP.

Should the CAMBELT have already broken then the Cylinder head will be removed and possibly ALL 16 valves would be replaced (an expensive job).

To reset the service indicator Citroen C3, push the button on the instrument panel. Hold it for 10 seconds while turning on the ignition.

It really is quite awkward to change a gaiter on a VW Golf however it can be done. The actual nylon/ leather gater is easy to remove, it has an elastic hem around the bottome of it which can be unfastened easily, or alternativley the retaining clip can be popped out with ease. The hardest part about changing the gaiter is removing the actual gear knob which can be very difficult, can offer any help on that, suffice to say its very hard.

There are several possible solutions to reset the immobilizer, assuming you can get into the car, the reset can be done by putting the key into the ignition and leaving the key there without starting the car.
