The "jumpers" used in computers and other electronics are typically made from copper, and typically covered with non-conductive plastic.
What are the differences between an Intel Core 2 Duo and an Intel Pentium Dual-Core?
Intel Pentium Dual-Cores are identical in architecture to Intel Core 2 Duos. The differences are:
A SCSI ID is a unique identifier assigned to each SCSI device on the bus. It determines the SCSI device's priority. There are 16 IDs, ranging from 0 to 15. The order of the priorities is a bit unusual. From highest priority to lowest they are: 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, 15, 14, 13, 12 ,11, 10, 9, 8. ID 7 is almost always reserved for the SCSI Host Adapter. The other IDs are free to be assigned as desired, although your computer may have assigned them automatically.
Never assign the same ID to more than one device.

What is the Logical drive and physical drive?
* Physical file (PF) contains the data and have only one record format. Logical file (LF) is a view of the physical file which does not contain any data may be based on one physical file or more then one physical file. Logical file can have more then one record format. Logical can be non join or join logical file. Performance becomes better if you use the logical file in the program.
Is an scanner a imput or output?
A scanner is an input device because you cannot send data from your computer to the scanner, only from the scanner to the computer.
If your referring to cat5, cat5e, cat6 wire, what you have is two wires that carry voltage, when voltage travels on wire it creates a magnetic field around the wire, you have two wires that carries voltages and both wires are creating a magnetic field... then you have eddy currents... take two magnetic and bring them close together and you disturb there magnetic fields or crossing of eddy currents as you disturb there magnetic field you feel the resistance or how it becomes harder to bring them closer together. The resistance of the magnetic fields is the same on two conductors they resist flow. So if you twist the two pairs together somehow it helps to cancel or reduce the repulsion of the fields and allow the voltage to flow better or more efficiently. the tighter or more twist per length the better.
Is a CD Re writer an input or an output device?
That's an output device, because your getting information off the computer and onto the CD.
Main difference between AT and ATX?
AT power supplies are connected to a motherboard with two power connectors, that must be aligned correctly. ATX power supplies use a single 20 or 24-pin connector that cannot be inserted incorrectly. AT power supplies are turned on and off with a physical switch. ATX power supplies are turned on and off by receiving a signal from the motherboard.
Which BIOS password must be entered before the system will boot?
if you don't know what the password is you will have to reset the bios by tripping a jumper or removing the watch battery on the motherboard.
List the hardware equipments needed to connect to the internet?
first you need an isp (internet service provider) and then from there you can choose either wireless which in turn you will need a router and a modem, or you can go with a wired connection in which all you will simply need is a phone line a modem and a ethernet cable HAVE A SWELL DAY
A Wireless adapter in the back of your PC will do it, all you need to do is choose a wifi hotspot and hack it (i am not recommending hacking, it is not a safe alternative to not paying for internet service)
How many partitions does SCSI support?
SCSI does not care about partitions. This is only the protocol used to interface with the harddisk.
There is probably a practical limit to the possible number of partitions on your SCSI drive. This is limited by its size mostly.
Normal limitations on partitions is something like 3 Primary partitions and one extended of which can contain more logical partitions. However not being 100% sure about limitations I find it logical to be about 127 or 255.
In any case more than what is practical for most uses.
It is greatly dependent upon which operatingsystem you use.
A partition is only controlled via software or even software in hardware.
Designing software for it, and you can easily have thousands of "partitions".
it is like having a book. If you write the book yourselves, you decide how many chapters this book will consist of. You decide the size of each chapter.
Is a computer screen considered hardware?
No, A monitor is a peripheral, it is not necessary for the computer to run, it increases the functionality or the host computer and is dependant on the host to fucntion, but the host computer can actually run without a monitor

1. Power Supply Is faulty. 2.Ram Is not Fitted In Slot Properly. 3.H.D power or IDE connecter Is not fix properly. 4.A so called "power Trojan" or Virus that is in your power options folder 6. Errors in Instructing Computer 7. Improper Control 8. Lack of Standards 9. Lack of Adequate Manufacturer Support
What devices did the computer replace?
Perhaps most notably, computers have replaced the typewriter, both the mechanical ones and the electric style. There are also other things which they can replace but have not completely, including the adding machine, the calculator and even the notepad. In a sense, people have been partially replaced by them, also, but I would not consider a person to be a device.
A UTP coupler is a small block to which you can connect two UTP cables to form a longer one. Handy if you have 2 short cables but need a long one.
Where do you plug in USB speaker?
A usb flash drive plugs in to the USB ports located on the sides of laptops (most commonly) or in the font or back of deskops (most commonly).
Hello im glad you asked because i will be able to help you. Alright you plug it into the usb port. Incase you dont know what that looks like here is a picture that shows you http://www.shivaranjan.com/shivaupload/windowslivewriter/10WaystoNetworkTwoComputers_11F65/USBPort.jpg Hope this helped :)
I/O Ports are memory addresses used by the processor for direct communication with a device that has sent an interrupt signal to the processor. The exchange of commands or data between the processor and the device takes place through the I/O port address of the device, which is a hexadecimal number. No two devices can share the same I/O port. Many devices use multiple I/O port addresses, which are expressed as a range of hexadecimal numbers.
What does contro Ctrl - U mean?

Pretty secure, if you have too much of a problem with it continuously falling over, then get some superglue or "NO MORE NAILS". That stuff works like an illegal immigrant in North America. Bloomin' hard. I know that hasn't answered your question.... Just make sure you have a firewall, and you know that the site you are sending webcam info on is secure, I.e. MSN, YAHOO etc. Using horrible, cheap looking websites will sometimes expose you to threats etc. Adios

Is a light an input or output device?
A traffic signal is controlled by a control box on the side of the intersection, the control box receives data from electromagnetic sensors under the pavement, and that data is processed by amplifiers inside of the box and the traffic controller makes the appropriate decision on what to do. So to answer the question, the traffic light is a decision made by the traffic controller which is a output.
What isuse of 0 and 1 in computer?
Computers use 1's and 0's to indicate data. Sets of eight 1's and 0's form one piece of data, such as a single letter etc. This is referred to as a byte. A single 1 or 0 is referred to as a bit.
It also use 1 as ' High input/output' & 0 as ' Low input/output'.
