What computer chip makes everything go?
The central processing unit in a computer is the main chip that "makes everything go." It gets input from programs to execute instructions and control electrical signals.
Motherboards that support PCI Express and have 24-pin P1 connector are sometimes called?

What is the age of a mossberg model 190 KB?
1957-1958 from what i can find im about to give mine an overhaul its in bad shape.
What do you mean by process inputs and outputs?
Inputs are anything that you pit into a system. For a computer the input can be from the user via a keyboard or gaming controller, you can also get input from usb sticks or cd's essentially anything that goes into your computer or system.
The process is what the system does with these inputs. Again with the computer example it takes in what you press on the keyboard or joystick to say controll an action in the game.
Output is anything that kinda like goes out of the system. For example your computer monitior is an output device and so are stuff like speakers, printer a usb stick can also be an output device if you put something on it essentially anything that goes out of the system.
How do you format your computer It doesn't boot all the way to windows xp what do you do?
Start your computer. As it is booting up, tap the F8 key about once a second until a text screen comes up. Choose 'safe mode'. This tells your computer to ignore most settings and to boot the computer up with a set of default settings that it knows are workable. It'll be ugly but you can then find and make the appropriate changes to correct whatever the issue is.
Project of migrating from old system to new system?
There are a number of ways, of doing this.
One of my favourites is a program called Adonis True Image. This will copy all your existing data / hard drive, to A N other drive for you.
How many feet is a parallel cable?
Parallel port communication cable length 8 channel is easy to form the mutual interference between the transmission speed and distance are limited, and when the transmission error, at the same time to the eight bits of data, and a serial port without interference, transmission error after it is ok to resend a, so faster than parallel port. Therefore generally parallel communication without transmission distance, serial communication, serial port communication is generally not more than 30 meters, but also the specific see the baud rate of the transmission signal, so the parallel communication estimated only a few meters, there is no exact definition of data.
How is 200 MB used on a computer?
That would be two hundred Megabytes. Likely storage, or a file or many files on a hard drive is what you're referring to. Any number of programs or files could take 200 mb.
I would need more details.
The RS-232 standard was originally developed at Bell Labs in the early 1970s, when the phone company owned all the phone lines, internal and external, and every piece of equipment connected to those lines (e.g. phone, fax, modem, PBX, hotel switchboard), you just leased the equipment. The purpose of RS-232 was to provide a standard for connecting a phone company owned modem (DCE) to a customer owned terminal (DTE). This would allow the customer, using his terminal, to connect to and login to a remote timesharing computer mainframe.
The original standard used 25 pin "D" connectors (DB-25), one male one female, but has since been modified to also permit 9 pin "D" connectors. Users frequently deviate widely from the standard as they are connecting to neither modems (DCEs) nor terminals (DTEs) and use different connectors or use signals in ways not described in the standard.
Will a gigabyte network card increase speed over 100 megabyte card?
Firstly it's called Gigabit and Megabit network cards.
Gigabit is ten times faster. 100mbit vs 1000mbit :)
Why are mirrors used in scanners?
There are usually two to three mirrors in a scanner and they are slightly curved so to reflect the image onto a smaller surface.
Will food coloring work in a inkjet printer?
No, Food coloring is a dye not an ink or paint. I wonder whom posted this and are they in anyway shape and form affiliated with ink manufacturing?
Why is fire wire superior to USB bus?
Because the FireWire port offers more bandwidth than USB (however the USB 3 standard has changed that)
download the device driver at the manufacturer's website
Bit slicing is a technique for constructing a processor from modules of smaller bit width. Each of these components processes one bit field or "slice" of an operand. The grouped processing components would then have the capability to process the chosen full word-length of a particular software design. Bit slice processors usually consist of an arithmetic logic unit (ALU) of 1, 2, 4 or 8 bits and control lines (including carry or overflow signals that are internal to the processor in non-bitsliced designs). For example, two 4-bit ALUs could be arranged side by side, with control lines between them, to form an 8-bit,16-bit,32-bit words (so the designer can add as many slices he wants to make it to manipulate longer words lengths). A microsequencer or Control ROM would be used to execute logic to provide data and control signals to regulate function of the component ALUs. Examples of bit-slice microprocessor modules can be seen in the Intel 3000 family, the AMD's Am2900 family the National Semiconductor IMP-16 and IMP-8 family, and the 74181.
How can you remove U3 software from Kingston USB drives?
I use mbrwiz to wipe the master boot record ( http://mbrwizard.com ), specifically 2.0b version for Windows. Once I unplug and reinsert the USB drive it reinitializes to a clean disk without U3. Keep in mind that this will remove ALL data on the disk! I use the following method under Windows XP: - Download mbrwizard for windows. Unzip and copy it to c:\ - Shell out to a command prompt: Start->Run, type cmd.exe - Start by listing the disks in the system: mbrwiz /list - Identify the disk by the total size as well as the volume label. Find the Disk # associated with this disk. - Wipe the MBR, using the disk # from above, assuming 2 for this example: c:\mbrwiz.exe /disk=2 /wipe=mbr
Once the process is complete simply eject the disk. I typically reinsert the disk into a different USB port, it seems like it helps Windows identify it as a new disk.
How can the installation of RAM affect the clock speed of the processor?
It doesn't; the clock speed of your RAM is governed by your Front Side Bus clock frequency.
With more RAM installed your PC will run faster, but the CPU clock speed is not responsible for this.
Actually, installing RAM would never effect the processor speed .AS there is a clock generator(eg:8284-A which was being used in the 8086 processor long back) which determines the clock of of the processor which in term is responsible for the speed of the processor.for eg:Every read or write operation takes 4 clock cycle for instance & if ur processor's clock speed is 1 mega hZ frequency i.e a clock pulse is of 1 micro seconds i.e ur write operation will take 4 micro sec & suppose my processors's clock speed is 2 mega hZ frequency i.e a clock pulse is of 0.5 micro seconds i.e my write operation will take only 2 micro second.
now what actually RAm is? it is just a temporary memmory provided to the prcessor for communication. processor hardly communicates with the hard disk. whatever data is required by processor it is first transfered to the RAm first and processor retrives it from there.so if u have larger RAm large data can be stored in it & would not want it regularly from the hard disk. there r a lot of other things involved like the type of architecture and cache memmory.however ,i hope i would have answered to this question.

What is the function of a flash drive?
To store small (or sometimes large, depending on the storage capacity,) amounts of data, such as programs or program files, documents, or videos (hence the name, "flash drive").
