What did the Y2K Millennium bug effect?
The millennium bug was a computer problem that threatened the operations of corporations, utility companies, finance industries, government agencies and even science. On the stroke of midnight between 31 December 1999 and 1 January 2000, the fear was that all computers had the potential of shutting down. The millennium bug is also known as the Year 2000 problem, Y2K problem, Y2K bug, and most commonly referred to as simply Y2K.

Who developed the first generation programming language?
First generation programming languages are not languages as we think of them. Modern English-like languages are third generation languages and their invention is often credited to Grace Murray Hopper who designed COBOL.
First generation languages are called "Machine Language" and are defined by the designers of each CPU. They are much closer to electronic specifications than to they are to a language in any real sense. When people think of long series of ones and zeros flowing through the computer they are pretty close to first generation programming languages.
John von Neumann designed the first modern programmable computer (the EDVAC). It may be fair to credit Machine Language to him as well, but Konrad Zuse might be a contender for that designation as well.
Who invented computer scanners?
The pantelegraph (Italian: pantelegrafo; French: pantélégraphe) was an early form of facsimile machine transmitting over normal telegraph lines developed byGiovanni Caselli, used commercially in the 1860s, that was the first such device to enter practical service. It used electromagnets to drive and synchronize movement of pendulums at the source and the distant location, to scan and reproduce images. It could transmit handwriting, signatures, or drawings within an area of up to 150 x 100mm.
Édouard Belin's Belinograph of 1913, scanned using a photocell and transmitted over ordinary phone lines, formed the basis for the AT&T Wirephoto service. In Europe, services similar to a wirephoto were called a Belino. It was used by news agencies from the 1920s to the mid-1990s, and consisted of a rotating drum with a single photodetector at a standard speed of 60 or 120 rpm (later models up to 240 rpm). They send a linear analog AM signal through standard telephone voice lines to receptors, which synchronously print the proportional intensity on special paper. Color photos were sent as three separated RGB filtered images consecutively, but only for special events due to transmission costs.
Computing is computing that relates to emotion or deliberately tries to influence emotion?
affective computing!
I think that they were made as a new form of public transportation, so that people hat a steady relyable form of transportation that wouldn't get stuck in traffic. Its also cheaper than a subway.

Were there computers in the 1960s?
Yes, Charles Babbage (England) designed and built a mechanical computer beginning in 1822. It had more than 25000 parts and weighed 15 tons and wasn't as powerful as a pocket computer these days.

Can you UK DVDs on American DVDS?
The question doesn't really make sense. I think you are missing some words. But DVDs have region codes and only some DVD players will play certain types. So check that first.
I don't think so. The commercial DVD player specification requires that a player to be sold in a given place not play discs encoded for a different region (region 0 discs are not restricted). The purpose of this is to allow motion picture studios to control aspects of a release, including content, release date, and, especially, price, according to the region.
Fortunately, So far Most freeware and open source DVD players, such as VLC, ignore region coding. Most commercial players are locked to a region code, but can be easily changed with software. You could find a guide about removing region code from DVD via related links below:
What is Charles Babbage's birthday?
Charles Babbage, a British mathematician and original thinker, was the inventor of the first mechanical computing machine, called the 'Difference Engine'. He has often been referred to, quite rightly, as the 'Pioneer of the computer'.
How many keys does a glockenspiel have?
A glockenspiel does not have a set number of keys. It can have twenty or thirty keys, depending on the size and number of octaves represented.

What is the History of batch operating system?
Not really but it is interesting to learn. Batch files are small programs that can be written in DOS. They also run in DOS. Any PC can get to the DOS shell by typing Start>run>cmd. To get out of the DOS shell just type exit. Go to amazon and get you an old book on DOS and it will also have info on how to write batch files, it may get you interested in programming because that's what it is.
What was the first computer with an operating system?
The first operating systems were nothing like modern operating systems and were usually called batch monitors, because all they did was automatically ran jobs sequentially in batch mode. Computers of the time had no interactive mode of operation. Computer companies did not supply software of any kind with their machines, so it was usually up to the user (company, university, government office) to write all their own software. The first batch monitor/operating system was done in 1954 by MIT for their UNIVAC 1103. General Motors did one in 1955 for their IBM 701.
The first computer to come from the manufacturer with an operating system already installed is a different question.
Who was the first person to use the computer?
The first recorded use of the word in the English language was in 1613 and referred to a person - someone who computed.
The first recorded use of the word for an electrical item which did the computation for you was 1897.
Although Charles Babbage had devised what was effectively a mechanical computer in 1837, the term, 'computer' was not used for it. He called it an 'Analytical Engine'.
Konrad Zuse [ˈkɔn.ʁat ˈtsuː.zə] (June 22, 1910 Berlin - December 18, 1995 Hünfeld) was a German engineer and computer pioneer. His greatest achievement was the world's first functional program-controlled computer, the Z3, in 1941 (the program was stored on a tape). In 1998, the Z3 was shown to be Turing-complete. He received the Werner-von-Siemens-Ring in 1964 for the Z3. Zuse also designed the first high-level programming language, Plankalkül, first published in 1948, although this was a theoretical contribution, since the language was not implemented in his lifetime and did not directly influence early languages. Wikipedia can work wonders. Hope this helped!
What is the first electronic item invented?
Probably it's the guy that invented the Leyden jar, wouldn't you think? In other words, it stored a charge and could give off that charge on demand. In a sense, that's a machine which we now commonly call a `capacitor', although it's made of different materials, it still functions the same.
How many computers have been made?
That number can't be exact, but it's increasing over one hundred or more. (Maybe)
What was the name of the company bill gates created?
Microsoft Windows is a series of software operating systems and graphical user interfaces produced by Microsoft. Microsoft first introduced an operating environment named Windows in November 1985 as an add-on to MS-DOS in response to the growing interest in graphical user interfaces.
The WWW refers to the combination of HTTP protocols and HTML to create a network of hyperlinked documents using the Internet. Unlike the Internet which was a colaborative effort, it was invented by one man - Dr TIm Berners Lee - as a means of researchers at CERN sharing experimental results. No one owns the world wide web but you can host your own web if you have the hardware. You can have your website hosted if you know who will host it. Web development has a development regulations department, but they don't own all the worlds interconnected computers.
