How do you reformat a netbook using usb flash drive?
It is possible to reformat a netbook with a flash drive if you use the program unetbootin. Unetbootin requires you to have a working operating system and an .iso file (a disk image of the new operating system you will be replacing the old one with. If ran from your desktop computer, unetbootin will give you the option to download a disk image, in this case, linux disk images. Linux is an open source operating system available for free. Or if you prefer to have Windows on your netbook, you will need to find the original Windows disk that came with your netbook, if any, or buy a Windows disk, and extract the .iso from the disk using .iso extraction software on a desktop computer with a disk drive. If you don't have a desktop computer or don't know anyone with one who would let you borrow it to extract the Windows .iso, visit your local library and request to use their computer for that. Extracting an .iso file is time consuming. Alternate: acquire a Windows disk image from the Internet by download. It is up to you how you accomplish that. You must then complete the form on unetbootin to prepare the disk image on your thumb drive. This is as easy as locating the disk image you wish to write to the thumb drive on your computer, then clicking next. When the procedure is complete, restart your computer with the thumb drive plugged in a USB port in your computer. When the computer boots, you should see a prompt on the screen to "press the * key to enter BIOS setup" or "press the * key to change boot options". Popular keys that manufacturers use are
To put it simply, step by step:
If all goes well, you have reformatted and reinstalled an operating system on your netbook without the use of a CD drive (assuming you didn't need to extract the disk image with disk image extraction software). Brute force approach is to buy a USB disk drive and install a disk that way, but the way I described will get it done for free, assuming you have a recovery disk. Good luck!
well mate, your disk that you are talking about contains all the drivers and lets say you format your hard disk completely and install windows again, you will have to re install all the drivers again so my advice is that first you find out your dell driver disk (The one which is labelled with drivers on top). If you can find that than you can take the next step, use an windows cd\dvd (If you lost that too, you can buy a new one) to a comlete new install, to clean whole disk, you can delete and make new partitions or you can format partitions othar than windows one after installing a fresh copy of windows.
And if you don't have any thing than call dell customer support and ask what your options are (Usually You Can Buy A New Set Of Discs).

It is possible that the charger is plugged into the wall, but slips out of your computer. Also, you may need to replace your battery if that is not the case. After so long most rechargeable batteries start to lose their maximum lifespan.

stop formatting you arent helping, the problem is the heatsink grease is worn off your gpu and it is over heating so it is turning off due to temperature protection. high temps also cause lagging in cpus too. just find some heatsink grease not regular grease take the fan off and the cooling fins and clean any old grease left on and reapply a small even amount on the gpu processor and replace parts you should be fine from there.
How do I fix a runtime error on my computer?
The runtime errors are based on the C++ runtime files.Your system is made and programmed on basis of these Function files. The files are predesigned and programmed to make a system run and it reads the code so that the computer can work.
You must not be having or missing some runtime files.
Download the file that suits your system. (Just go to microsoft website)

I'm not sure that I understood you right. But security updated don't provide or take away user permissions and rights. Security and account policies are a part of windows. Updated only fixed some problems but don't define rights.
What problem resulted in no drive detected except for the floppy drive?
Well not knowing your skill level I'll just give you a few things you can check and if you can't do it then I'm sure you'll be able to find someone. First, make sure that your hard drive is detected in BIOS, if not then change it to auto-detect and it will find your hard drive assuming your hard drive is in good shape. Reboot and if you get the same error then put your XP CD in the CD drive and reboot again. Enter the Recovery Console and fix MBR (Master Boot Record). If none of those work then your options are pretty slim. You probably gonna need a new hard drive. :

No WD40 is not good for your computer. To clean the outside of your computer you should use a damp cloth with warm soap and water. How do you get rid of tracking cookie 2o7?
Disabling history and cookies in firefox did not work for me. Neither did cookie deletion tools. I have free AVG which managed to block it each time it tried to launch. There is a little pop-up in the lower part of the screen which announced this. I hit the "print screen" key and pasted this into paint. With enough time to read the location I located the file pointed to in the firefox profile folder and deleted (wiped) it with Jetico's BC wipe (free to download and use). Simple deletion to trash may also work as well.
How do you fix a boot error when booting from a USB configured by Sardu?
This was a BIOS settings issue.
In the BIOS of this Asus netbook I found a second setting, which also had to be set with "USB" as 1st boot device.
When I found this setting, the 'Boot Settings' dialog box had the following categories:
"Boot Device Priority".
"Hard Disk Drives":
It was necessary to additionally set "USB" as 1st boot device within the "Hard Disk Drives" category.
In here its default settings were:
"HDD"
"USB".
