When I bought an 8-track player for my '79 Jeep CJ7, some of my friends made fun of me because they were all getting cassette players for their cars. Loved that Jeep. Loved that 8-track cranking out Jessi Coulter, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.
It was the cassette tape that replaced the 8-track, and cassettes had a good long run until the CD took over.
Which transistor is used for high speed power application?
In transistor the heat is created during transition stage means from cutoff to saturation and reverse, so if transistor used for high frequency application power loss can be minimized. The heat produced during switching is actually power loss.
Simple small voltmeters can be bought for less than $10. Most very accurate and reliable ones are between $80 and 300
What is number system in computer?
A collection of things together with operations on those numbers and the properties that the operations satisfy or in other words, a collection of numbers together with operations, properties of the operations, and a system of representing these numbers.
How long will a 10amp charger charge a 12V battery?
Till the battery is fully charged. -Could be 4-12 hours.

A computer that has been returned to a manufacturer and resold is known as what?
Generally, anyelectronics that have been returned to a manufacturer and resold via retail channel are known as refurbished goods. They are usually advertised with at least one of the following words:

* Pre-Owned
* Used
What does a Thermistor do in a circuit?
A thermistor is a type of resistor specifically designed to have a predictable change in resistance depending on the temperature surrounding it. All resistors and, in fact the resistance of all components are succeptable to changes in temperature. The thermistor however, is specifically designed to exploit this in order to be able to measure temperature. They are commonly found in all sorts of temperature sensing circuits, from your digital thermostat in your house to your digital meat thermometer.
One might find that the cost to repair such an item may far exceed the price of a new unit, taking into account the lower cost of mass produced electronics and electronic circuit boards these days.
What kind of adapter to you need in the UAE?
voltage is 220volts, they use the three prong English-type plug socket although adaptors are readily available
You can find it under the name half-pitched Centronics 36 to Paralled Female, then you need another plug adapter or cable called Paralled to USB, after all that is no garantee that work, because is a vey old printer with very old technologies (Win 95 drivers), another way around is to use the infrared sensor, try to get a irDA USB data transfer the printer is capable of printing without a cable, good luck.
Why does a wet cell need an electrolyte?
Well for one, it would be a dry cell without it... But to explain the other side, it is the chemical reaction that causes the electricity to flow. There is quite a bit out there on what happens at an actomic, level, and how the electron flows as part of the chemical reaction.
Just unlock the coin holder, when you put the coins just take them out again. That could work although it would slow you down some.
Can You Get Rid Of An Engraving on an ipod?
Well, yes. It can be polished off with a polishing tool. Also, doing this may cover all the small scratches and the logo itself.
What is the weakness of using cctv?
There are two most striking weaknesses of CCTV:
(1)Unless your cctv control center has the ability to dispatch guards within reasonable time, then it will only act as proof of crime and/or deterrence.
(2)The objects of surveillance have to be analyzed from time to time, at least annually, to expose 'blind spots' and correct those accordingly. If not, your system is prone to and will be exploited from time to time without you even knowing it.
How do you measure if a transformer is functional without applying voltage?
The short answer is you can't. The long answer is that it is possible with the appropriate tools but still involves applying an AC voltage to the input terminals and observing what happens on the output terminals, but it may not be necessary to use dangerous voltage levels to do this.
Why?
A transformer relies for its operation on a continuously varying magnetic field. The field is induced by current passing through the primary, driven by the applied AC voltage. It in turn induces current flow in the secondary coil, wound concentric to the input. This induction only happens as the magnetic field changes, and you can only get a changing magnetic field by flowing current through the input, and that can only happen by applying an AC voltage to the input. The magnitude of the output voltage is related (to a first approximation, with no secondary load) to the input by the simple ratio of the number of turns in the secondary coil divided by the number of turns in the primary times the input voltage.
This can not be tested using an Ohm meter. There are three basic kind of current flow - resistive, capacitative, and inductive. An Ohm meter can only measure resitive current flow. The other two require special meters known as L or C meters. The ideal transformer windings read pretty close to 0 Ohms resistively, so it is very difficult to tell if there are any short circuits between windings. An L meter can tell if there is in fact any magnetic capability. But the only true test is to input AC and measure the output with an AC volt meter. Or take it apart and see if it was OK (it won't bbe after you took it apart, of course!).
That said, an ohm meter will tell you if either coil is broken (open circuit). Some transformers have one terminal of each coil tied to a common ground so an ohm test will not tell you if that is the case (OK) or if there is an umintended short between the coils (not OK).
What happens if you are hit by a stun gun on the tongue?
You get shocked, but not through your heart, so it won't be pleasant, but it won't kill you.
What does polarity mean on a universal ac dc power adapter?
According to google if you have an automatic universal adapter, that adapter will automaticly find and adapt itself , the polarity ,voltage, amper , so that means an adapter can adapt polarities as well as voltage and current.
A manual universal adapter on the other hand you have to adapt the polarity manually on the adapter itself , by checking what the device you wanna power has positive or negative, most electronic devices presently use positive .
Check and see what voltage , amper and polarity a device needs.
Positive : +--o)--Minus , Negative : Minus--o)--+
Or Positive: Minus--(o---+ , Negative : +---(o---Minus
And adjust manually to what is required.
For a device requiring DC 12v 1000mA will a DC adapter with output 12v 2.7A also work?
No, because the provided rating of 12volt, 2.7Amp equivalent to 2700 mA (milli amphere) is a much higher as to the adapter said 12volt, 1000 mA (Milli Amphere).
Explain how to apply tinning technique in soldering?
Strip the wire to desired length. Then hold the wire horizontally and hold the soldering iron underneath the stripped part while holding the solder on the top of the wire. When the wire gets hot enough it will suck the solder into the wire
Can you use a regular alltel phone on an alltel prepaid plan?
If I had an contract plan with alltel and i cancelled the contract can i use the phone as a prepaid phone
No. Snes9x only plays SNES ROMs. You would need another emulator, such as Nestopia, to play NES games.
