-No you can not , I have went to the optometrist and he said do not swim with your contacts on . The pool has bacteria even if has chlorine inside and you think it can kill all the bacteria but it can't , the ones it can't kill it will go into your contacts and it will give you an infection . How can short sightedness be cured?

Glasses and contact lensesShort-sightedness can usually be corrected by you wearing glasses or contact lenses. Your optometrist will discuss with you what options are available.

If you're mildly short-sighted, you may only need to wear glasses or contact lenses occasionally, such as when you're driving.

Contact lenses tend to be more expensive than glasses, and you need to be comfortable touching your eyes to use them. You will need to keep them clean and some types require a lot of care. A popular type of contact lenses is daily disposable lenses, which you wear for one day and then throw away. You don't need to clean or store these lenses.

Glasses are usually recommended for children. They may also be more suitable than contact lenses for older people.

SurgeryLaser refractive surgery

Laser surgery involves small alterations being made to your cornea using a laser, so that light rays are correctly focused onto your retina. To treat short-sightedness, the centre of your cornea is made flatter by removing more tissue from the centre than from the edge.

The procedure is carried out under local anaesthesia, so you're awake throughout. It only takes a few minutes. The procedure works very well for most people. However, you should be aware that you may not experience the improvement in your eyesight that you expect and you may need further treatment.

There are some risks associated with laser refractive surgery, including infection of your cornea and problems with the flap that is made in your cornea during certain types of laser eye surgery.

If you choose to have laser refractive surgery, it's important that you consider the benefits and risks of the operation before you go ahead. You should also make sure that it's carried out by a trained professional.

Intraocular lens insertion

In this operation, a surgeon inserts an artificial lens in front of your own lens. You will be given a local anaesthetic beforehand. The artificial lens allows light rays to focus on your retina rather than in front of it.

This is a new type of treatment and not much is known about the long-term side-effects. It's not always available and your surgeon will usually only suggest it if you have severe short-sightedness or are unable to wear glasses, for example if you have a disability.

Good luck!

Hope that helped!!

Does a man like you if he keeps making eye contact?

it could be either one. maybe he's looking at you and thinking about how you two can get together. maybe he's thinking about how cute you are or is thinking about something else that's attractive about you. either way, he's thinking about you when you know he's staring at you. but when some guys hear that you're into them or maybe even like them, they may stare at you to see if you're worth getting to know and/or take out on a date. they're studying you to see your pro's and con's. but if you had heard about a guy who liked you, wouldn't you look at him to see what he's like physically, all around? to see if he's worth giving a shot?

How can you tell the difference between normal eye contact and someone who makes eye contact because of a crush and I notice him staring out the corner of my eye?

I know what you mean. You like this person who looks at you times and you can't tell if it's just "normal eye contact or a crush. The other option is also because you stare at this person alot that he/she is freaked out and checks to see if you are still staring at him/her. If he/she is looking at you with a smile, then it could be a crush. If he/she just looks at you, I advise you to stop staring. Yeah yeah you can't help it, but it's really not fair to make the other person feel uncomfortable. If it's a crush their eyes will be sparkly (if you know what I mean), otherwise check how other people look at you and compare it to how this person looks at you.

What is optical center of lens?

It is often used as a reference point for optical calculations and design. The optical center is typically at the geometric center of a lens with a symmetrical shape.

Why can't they ever just admit they're cheating after they're caught when you have all the evidence to validate your suspicions instead of looking in your eyes and denying all accusations?

Because you have caught them so to speak "with their pants down!" Cheating is fun for some people. The lure of sneaking around is enticing and it's dangerous because they know that you will eventually find out. I feel this is one of the main reasons for cheating and it spices up some people's lives, but it's a whole lot to lose over a cheap thrill. Also, some men (or women) that cheat are having a grand old time until they are caught and all that guilt comes rushing to the surface. You've just accused your husband of this and now this whole cheating thing isn't as mystical and wonderful as he once thought it was. Although mad at you, he also has a sense of guilt. The question is ... do you want to remain with him? You have to sit and talk with him and find out why the cheating went on. If you don't feel his excuse is good enough I'd deep six this guy and move on. I did and never looked back with one ounce of regret. Good luck Marcy

What does it take to put a 400 crank in a 350?

The small block 350 uses a smaller main bearing diameter than the Small block 400. To run a 400 crank in a 350 the crank must be "turned" down at a machine shop to fit the 350 bearing diameters. You also will need to use special pistons with the correct compression height for the 350 IF you are using the 5.7 inch 350 connecting rods. If you use the 5.565 inch 400 connecting rods , then you can use regular 350 pistons. The longer stroke 400 crank also requires that you provide additional clearance inside the block, by grinding notches to eliminate the crank hitting the block and other parts. Finally, the entire engine must be re-balanced to make sure that the engine does not vibrate. The 400 is externally balanced and the 350 is internally balenced so you need to use 400 flywheel and 400 harmonic balancer.
