A good subject is something that you know well or that you have an idea about. That helps your motivation in continuing to write. You can usually find a good topic among the things that interest you. That way writing doesn't have to be a chore as much as a joy. Writing an entire book is a lot of hard work, and so anything that you can do to stay motivated will help.
