well it depend on the gear. like in mine the low or granny first is hard to get into. i have to let the clutch out a little while at a stop then slip it into gear. if its other gears it may be a clutch problem. if not then there is a problem with the trans and it needs to be rebuilt.

It depends on what you need - if you want lots of speed no power on the bottom end you go with the high ratio - if you want lots of torque on take off and lots of pulling power you take the low gear ratio.

laying under the vehicle ,on the side of the rear housing pointing towards the passengerside of vehicle you should see a plug ,a 3/8 extension should fit that plug, unscrew it, if it is full it should seep out after plug is removed or should just be inside hole when touched by finger. if more needs to be added ,add only til it spills out and replace plug

I would change it. A lot of people neglect on changing gear oil.

Most manufacturers recommend changing it, mileage varies, check your owners manual.

wish i can tell u but ur best bet is calling dealership directly or sometimes a part store will have it in the computer and yes dealership will usally try to get you to come in but be persisent that you will or can not and just want but off the top of my head i believe its 15 to 17 pounds of torque for the pinion nut srry couldn't be more helpful
