You change the transmission oil by removing the transmission oil pan (this can be quite messy). Replace the filter at the same time. Most Dodge vans have a drain plug for draining the torque converter. This only drains the converter. It is accessed by removing the inspection plate located on the bottom half of the bell housing. This is located just behind the engine oil pan and faces the front of the vehicle. You must rotate the engine to move the drain plug to the bottom for draining.

Are you sure its a warning light, and not just and indicator that the pre-heater is on. Diesel engines don't have spark plugs, so in cold weather they should be preheated to acheive combustion. The light will usually GO OUT when the heater is finished heating the engine, and it is ready to start.

If the pump is new, the most likely cause is a clogged fuel filter or line. Broken line, cut hose, improper instilation.

Under the van about midway down the passenger side bolted to the frame. The easiest way to find it is to follow the fuel lines back from the engine compartment.

After much time searching I found out that not all 1990's has a crank sensor. Dodge used up some 1989 engines in the 1990 production, thus some do NOT have crank sensors.

I NEED HELP DIAGOSING THIS ONE! It runs great, then it will loose power, and smell like flooding, and stall out. The fuel pressure remains constant at 14 lbs PSI. Spark remains. After a few minutes it will start up and rev up to clear out and all is well till next ime.

Standard length is around 4300 lbs, I think, but it depends on options, seats, etc.

For removing the fuel pump bolts on a 318, 360, 400, you would use a 1/2" socket. I used this to remove and install bolts on a 1977 Dodge Warlock with the 400 in it. Hope that helps.

The question you ask is too involved for a proper answer. You need to go to a car parts store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Huh? The answer is 10 degrees BTDC, or whatever is printed on the label underneath the hood. The timing mark is in the MIDDLE of the crank pulley (on the ridge between the alternator and accessory belts). You will not be able to see it, but you can feel it with your fingernail, it is just a little nick. Paint it with a tiny dot (big mark will decrease accuracy). Then you have to jump the diagnostic connector in the passenger side kick area before starting the car, verify the computer light comes on so that it is using no advance, and probably have someone put their foot on the gas to keep it from dying while you set the timing.

No. Ram Van is more rounded, will not bolt up and the middle will stick out about an extra foot from the sides

I don't belive they have one that you can change its built into the fuel pump and that's in the fuel tank and real fun to change GOOD LUCK!!

The best answer I found for my 2002 Astro was to keep the trailer harness inside the van until needed, then simply open the door, bring out the harness, and close the doors with the harness on the floor of the van, coming out between and under the dutch doors. The rubber gaskets around the doors allow the doors to close on the harness without putting a kink in it, even. This protects the harness from weather when not in use.

1357 on left side (driver) front to rear, 2468 right (passenger) front to rear. Order is 18436572 clockwise.
The distibutor is timed with a scan tool, not a timing light. To set the distributor with out a scan tool you line the rotor up with the line on the pickup plate under the distributor cap when the mark on the crank pulley is lined up with tdc #1.
