All you have to do is be persuasive. Tell your parents the good things about pets. Then follow it up by saying you will help around the house. Say you will always take care of the pet. Then say you will do extra chores or be nice to your siblings. BEG AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. Just remember, don't make it the only thing you talk about. NEVER EVER EVER bring up the topic while your mom's watching videos about people popping gigantic zits! If you do, your mom will never even think about it. Don't beg too much because then they'll just say no. I begged too much last year, got turned down, for birthday and Christmas didn't get one. This year, my dad brought up the subject, my parents talked, and we might get one. Remember, don't beg too much, but beg some; look up good, useful information about how they are good; read alot of books of how to take care of a dog, and search the Internet, say you'll do most of the work; and say that you'll love that dog 'till the day it dies (and even after!). If you haven't had a pet before, that's a bonus. Just say you've never experienced a pet before and you really REALLY want one!

are the wires extension cords? lamp cords, gotta be careful as most products are spray on and if that wire is not shielded you may cause a fire. Move the wires or extension cords out of the way, or put puppy in a safe place away from then. There are products to spray to prevent chewing, but i don't advise it on electrical wires!

Dominance and 'pecking order' is very important to dogs... In the dog universe, there's no such things as 'equals'. Everybody is either above or below someone else in relative status.

'Humping' another dog (or cat, or person, or furniture) is one of many ways a dog might show that his (or her) status is higher than the humpee's status... And status is so important that this behavior is very common in play, as well.

Because of this, though, any time your dog humps your leg, you shouldn't allow it... Growl them down with a quick, sharp warning that you are the one in charge. It doesn't need to be much... A serious sounding "No!" or "Back off!" should do it.

There are two parts to solving this problem: 1. The easy part first: Go to a pet store and purchase something similar to the link provided. Nature's Miracle stain and odor remover is what I have had good luck with. This product and others like it use enzymes to break down the molecules that are left behind by animals that the dog is smelling. Just using normal soap and water will not do the trick! 2. You must stay determined to watch the dog and every time it approaches the spot you must firmly tell it 'no.' You must stay patient and consistently repeat this process 5, 10 or maybe 20 times until the animal understands that you want it to avoid that area. If the dog is absolutely focused and convinced that it needs to go over to the spot and will not accept verbal commands, then the best alternative is to distract it with other sorts of commands or attention. After consistently distracting the dog and training it avoidance of the area, it will eventually detach whatever behavior it had developed for that area over time. It is a long and tedious process that takes patience and diligence, but is fairly simple.

You don't have to spray anything the only reason they chew on thing is because the dogs are bored. Get them out exercising as much as you can to end this problem. When you catch chewing on the legs of the table, make a sharp noise and give them something you DO want them to chew on.

If you have a small dog like a chihuahua then just around the block or just to the end of the sidewalk and back but if you have a bigger dog than that like a jackrussel or bigger then they can go for a walk twice around the block or maybe even longer.

In a male dog, he has been neutered i.e. he's been castrated For a female, she has been spayed i.e. ovaries and uterus removed. They can no longer breed.

Put your dog on a choke chain and 6 foot leash when people come over or whenever you know your dog may jump on someone. Don't ever let him or her jump on you. Just give the command to Sit and if you need to, teach the dog to SIT. Join a local obedience club near you. Check with your Veterinarian for the nearest local dog club and obedience class. Measure around your dog's neck for proper size of choke chain and add 2 inches to size of choke chain for proper size. If your dog jumps up on someone, tell the dog NO firmly and push her or him down. Tell the people not to talk or touch him or her while you are trying to teach him what is proper manners and to ignore him or her. Keep up with the pushing the dog down firmly and saying NO and correcting with the leash and choke chain. A short sharp jerk to the side will help but not too harsh, just jerk him with a short fairly firm jerk, while telling him NO. and then tell him good dog when or if he minds.. Take the dog on daily walks for at least 20-30 minutes (always on leash), burn off some of that excess energy. Be firm with your dog and consistent. Do not allow him to get away with jumping up on people. Obedience class and daily walks will help greatly. Always have your dog on leash when off of your property or while training him or her.

The dog likely has separation anxiety. Get him a Kong toy and fill it with peanut butter or other soft food and stuff kibbles inside. Save this special treat ONLY for when you leave, so he can associate you leaving with getting a special treat. Trying to get the food out of the Kong will take him hours and this keeps him busy while you're gone.

It's also possible he's being rated too long if you are gone for many hours. If this is true, try to get a family member/friend or neighbor to comeandletthe dog out for a bit each day.

It is never too late to train a dog to do anything. Unless they are unable to for health reasons. Dogs actually love learning and discovering new things.

there is no odor that can help. if your dog has blat-er problems or cat or has not got fixed yet you might want to get that checked out and ma by change the food and the outside times or the letterbox.

When I got my puppy the breeder gave puppy training pads to us. But I went to this puppy store, Pets Plus, and they had them there! You are supposed to put them near the door, like the back door, so they know they can go potty there. Also you can put them where they go potty to show that THAT is where they go potty.

They stand just in front of the sled, they don't really do much except help pull the sled. I hope that answers your question.
