The standards differ because different usages require different standards. For example, drinking water requires chemical treatment and biological treatment, while water for steam generation (Industrial) requires separation of ion and dissolved gasses to prevent either corrosion or fouling. If the water is used for processes, the treatment will focus on removing impurities that have great impact on the balance of the process. Another reason why the standards are different is because of the treatment cost that differs based on each standard.

in the container or you can il it and have a container or some contraption

to catch the evaporation and store it in a container you can also start a

fire and boil it, for 7 minutes . But a quicker way to do it is with beach

equipments so you don't need to give in alot of energy to make heat

It's excellent, charcoal should be further treated and turned into activated carbon to give it more surface area but in the absence of that process and all you have is charcoal; it does a pretty good job

I have 2 baby Eastern Painted Turtles. I have had them since they were just hatchlings and now they are just about 1 year old. Painted turtles always need water! You should provide your turtle with a land area and a large swimming area, as well as a basking area. Painted turtles like to dig and will actually bury themselves completely underground. Make sure you provide them with a land material that they can burrow in. Don't be afraid if you don't see them for a day or 2. (Being buried for extended periods of time however, will deprive your turtle of nutrients from the UV light as well as from food sources.) For example, I have a 20 gallon long tank. It measures 36" x 18" x 18" (LxWxD) One third of the length is a dry land area about 10" deep and the other two thirds is a water area. The turtles spend more time in the water and barely ever go on land. I provide a dock for them with a basking lamp above it to stimulate the sun. They love to bask together on their dock. Also, UVB rays are necessary for turtles to absorb calcium and other vitamins, so you must have a UVB light for them and you cannot have it behind glass because the glass refracts many of the UVB rays. Painted turtles are aquatic turtles and eat, swim, sleep, and poop in the water. Try not to feed your turtle in its tank because you will make a lot of maintenance work for yourself. DO SOME RESEARCH!!!!! IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR TURTLE AND WHAT TYPE OF SHELTER TO PROVIDE THEM YOU WILL ONLY TAKE AWAY FROM THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE AND ARE BETTER OF NOT KEEPING ONE. It depends on how you are defining the word 'produces'. If you are talking about how much fresh water is pumped and used by humans, I don't know the answer. But, if you mean how much fresh water is available in a country, I would go with Brazil, because of the Amazon River. The Amazon by itself is said to have about 20% of the world's total river flow. I read somewhere that the Amazon Basin contains about 10% of the earth's total fresh water. Since the vast majority of the Amazon Basin lies within Brazil, Brazil must contain more fresh water than any other country. But, much of that fresh water flows out into the Atlantic Ocean and is not used by humans.
