What is the gravity of Pluto?

Pluto's gravity is about 7% that of Earth's. A person weighing 100 pounds on Earth,

would weigh a mere 7 pounds on Pluto.

The average gravitational acceleration at the surface is 0.58 meters per second2.

For comparison, the acceleration of gravity on Earth is 15.94 times greater.

How much moons does Neptune have?

Neptune has 14 known moons. The largest moon of Neptune is Triton, which was discovered in 1846, just 17 days after the planet itself was discovered.

What are the surface conditions on Pluto?

Temperatures are around -375 F. The day is equal to about 6 Earth days. During the day, the sun appears to be only a really bright star and you can see other stars in the sky. The atmosphere is mostly composed of methane and the surface is rock and ice. The orbit of Pluto is oddly ellongated, almost like a comets trail and rotates in the wrong direction. It varies from being closer to the sun than Neptune and deep into the Keiper belt. This planet would be completely uninhabitable. Pluto is in the inner edges of the Keiper belt and is considered a dwarf planet by most astronomers. After the Keiper belt, our solar system ends. (but not our galaxy, the galaxy has 100's of other solar systems) Hope this helps! -Meg

Are there any rings around Pluto?

No rings have been observed around Pluto.
So far rings have only been observed around Jovian Giant planets, like Saturn. Pluto is a dwarf planet, not a Jovian planet.

What are Pluto's known minerals?

Pluto is not known to have any minerals on its surface. As a small and distant dwarf planet, Pluto's composition is believed to primarily consist of ice, rock, and possibly small amounts of organic compounds.

Why would you take Actonel?

Actonel is a medication used to prevent and treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and to increase bone mass in men with osteoporosis. It belongs to a class of drugs called bisphosphonates that work by slowing down bone loss and reducing the risk of fractures. Your doctor may recommend Actonel if you have a high risk of developing osteoporosis or if you already have the condition.

How long does it take to get certification for phlebotomy?

It takes approximately 4 months depending on whether you go full time or part time. It's a very easy course...It teaches you how to draw blood and also proper patient interaction. The median yearly salary of a Phlebotomist is about $43,000. Hope my answer helped :)

Do not think that the median salary for a phlebotomist is $43,000 that must be for someone who is very, very experienced or who works in management.

I have worked as Phlebotomist for over 10 years and never heard of anyone making that type of money. The information that I found states that generally a phlebotomist make around $12-14.00 a hour before shift differential. However some states pay very low in the $8-10 an hour range, it depends on where you live and who you work for, and how much experience you have.

Also, phlebotomist do not have to have formal education. You can get on the job training in several states. Speak with people who work in Phlebotomy clinics in your area and ask is formal education is required in your state. You can save your money and be trained on the job. I have worked with formally trained, and on the job trained phlebotomist and personally I don't see any difference with them.

I am not a formally trained Phlebotomist but I feel that my education from the hospital where I worked was better than the vocational education that some paid for. **Goddess34, December 5, 2008

Is Neptune's orbit unusual?

The orbits of Neptune and Pluto appear to cross each other. However, because of their alignment, they can never collide or even approach close to each other.

Pluto orbits in a very long elliptical shape. Its orbit sometimes passes within that of Neptune. Then, for about 20 years, it becomes closer to the sun than Neptune.

Why do you think debt offerings are more common than equity offerings and typically much larger as well?

Debt offerings are more common than equity offerings because they allow companies to raise capital without diluting ownership. Debt offerings also tend to be larger because they are seen as less risky by investors - lenders are typically paid before equity holders in case of bankruptcy, making debt investments more attractive for those seeking more certainty in return.

What year will the earth end?

Rumors are .. 2012. However, this rumor is based on an incorrect interpretation of Mayan prophecies, in which the calendar ends at 2012. According to John Major Jenkins and other researchers, the Mayans believed that the world would undergo a transformation in 2012. That's not the same thing as the end of the earth. No one can name the year with certainty. The planet Earth may eventually die, but scientists don't expect that to happen anywhere near our present lifetime or even in the near future.

Answer

We don't know exactly when the world going to end, but we do know it will not happen until 1000 years after the return of Jesus Christ, and that hasn't happened yet.

Why is the diameter of iron rim kept slightly smaller than wooden wheel on which this rim is to be mounted?

The iron rim is kept slightly smaller than the wooden wheel so that when the iron expands due to heat, it will fit snugly onto the wooden wheel without causing any issues. This allows for a secure and stable fit between the two components.

How many satellites are orbiting Pluto?

As of 2012, there are 4 known natural satellites (moons) of Pluto.

Charon was discovered in 1978, Nix and Hydra in 2005, and the fourth moon, provisionally called S/2011P1, was found in 2011. Charon's diameter is over half that of Pluto, and the Pluto-Charon pair actually represent a co-orbiting binary system. Nix and Hydra are both much smaller, having diameters estimated at between 5% and 7% of Pluto's.

There are no artificial satellites orbiting Pluto. The unmanned NASA probe "New Horizons" will pass near Pluto in 2015.

How long does it take for neptune to rotate around the sun?

Neptune's year, or the time it takes to orbit around the sun, is a little under 165 of our Earth years.

What is Pluto nearest to?

Pluto is nearest to its moon, Charon, which is about half the size of Pluto. The two bodies are tidally locked, meaning they always show the same face towards each other as they orbit.

What are the key characteristics of Pluto?

Pluto is a dwarf planet located in the outer regions of the solar system beyond Neptune. It is small in size, icy, and rocky, with a highly elliptical orbit that takes it closer to the sun on occasion. Pluto has a thin atmosphere primarily composed of nitrogen, carbon monoxide, and methane.

What planet has no moons?

Bothe mercury and Venus have no known moons. All of the other planets in ku solar system have at least one moon, the larger gas giant planets have many moons. It's partly due to the lack of debris in the inner part of the solar system and the fact that Venus and mercury are not very big, so can't easily capture or hold a moon.

What is clockwise?

Clockwise is the direction in which the hands of a clock move, going from the top to the right, then down, left, and back up. It is also described as the direction that is considered to be "rightward" of a circle or circular shape.

What is Pluto's atmosphere?

Pluto's atmosphere is mainly made of nitrogen, methane, and carbon monoxide, but is less than 25-millionths the density of Earth's. The gases exist mostly as frozen solids on the planet's frigid surface, and only thaw when the planet is closest to the Sun.

Currently no human made objects are orbiting Neptune yet Neptune has eight satellites explain?

Neptune actually has 13 satellites,

Naiad, Thalassa, Despina, Galatea, Larissa, Proteus, Triton, Nereid, Halimede, Sao, Laomedeia, Pasamathe, and Neso.

Also, you may note that your question is incomplete, so I'll try to give a "shot in the dark" at answering your question.

Though Neptune has 13 known satellites, it likely has more that are beyond the detection capabilities of modern telescopes. Out there at the edge of the Sol System, lighting isn't too good, so it's harder to find those small moons. With the exception of Triton, Neptune's moons are rather small. Triton orbits Neptune counter-clockwise, as opposed to the rest of the moons which orbit Neptune clockwise. This is because Triton is believed to have been captured earlier in the history of the Sol System.

It's believed Uranus had a large collision or two that resulted in enough debris being shot into orbit to generate several relatively large moons, and provided Uranus with a ring system. Neptune isn't believed to have any such event. So Neptune's satellites (with the exception of Triton, again) are generally smaller.

How long does it take for Pluto to orbit around the sun?

Technically Pluto will never be in the eighth planet position again because it is no longer classified as a planet. However, Pluto is closer to the Sun than Neptune starting every 228 years. The duration of this position lasts roughly 20 years.

What is Pluto's composition?

Pluto's composition is primarily made up of rock and ice, including water ice, methane ice, and nitrogen ice. It also has a thin atmosphere primarily composed of nitrogen, with some traces of methane and carbon monoxide. The dwarf planet's surface is covered with highly varied terrains, including mountains, plains, and icy plains.

What number planet is pluto?

It depends if you count all planets, or just dwarf planets:

  • On the list of all 13 planets including dwarf planets, pluto is the 10th from the sun.
  • If you only count only the 5 dwarf planets, it is the second dwarf planet from the sun (the first is Ceres).

Why would a 1993 Ford E350 keep stalling when warmed up?

Possible causes for a 1993 Ford E350 stalling when warmed up could include a faulty fuel pump relay, a clogged fuel filter, a failing ignition coil, or a malfunctioning mass airflow sensor. It may also be worth checking the idle air control valve or the throttle position sensor for potential issues.
