there are multiple factors answer, let me know if you need me to break it down even further, because i can tell the only way to guarantee you will be 100% protected from any purchase from an eBay site, this goes for any and every poss. purchase weather its a car, house, or $1.00 item that ships free to u from any country in the entire world, and this is how to do it. you also should know that you are never guaranteed to get anything remotely close to what you are actually buying, however, if you use only a verified *(positive, any negative comment or dispute or limitation ever on the account {there are other factors with any ones pay pal account which could put your protection over the sellers, i can with a honesty factor if your willing to give me exact details of any of the pay pal issues you may have had, then i will look up the sellers site and give you an opinion on if i think you will get exactly what you pay for}, then if you are in absolute good standing with pay-pal and you must only make the actual payment to pay pal with a credit card (not even a debt card, but if you use a credit card and make a payment for your item or even a car then you are guaranteed to {this is another fact that you will no loose a dime, and as long as the car is exactly what the listing said and its very important to know that a seller have many many ways to trick you legitimately into making the purchase, but i will promise that it may take from my experience up to several month of going back and forth with either paypal or the credit card company, but you are gurenteed to within a couple of months ( if the item diddnt cast more than a dollar or i have at the most seen paypal refund your money with no questions asked exept a full description of yoour problem, at the least in my opinion for anything ever purchased, in less than a week, but i think for a car there are some questions and time it will take you, but, you will be gurenteed to have your credit card refunded the transaction of any dollar amount. the only and this is the most important protection of all things, you should ask some questions to the seller for a personal gurentee that the car is a legal and in listed condition and then save the personal response from the responded message ( i suggest to print it out with this print out come extra protection from scams, because paypal will use it to make an honest discision weather or not to refund your money if it comes down to the last thing the will factor into your refund, often if you are not fully satisfied with your ebay purchase it comes down to their integrity of bisiness and have ways to make both parties happy to simply come back to ebay or use the paypal tools in the future. so if this does not help confirm any more answers i am happy to help futher help you make a personal descision. peace out........
