How can teenage pregnancy be prevented?
abstaining from sex completely and using condoms
Sex education and accessible birth control. Teach parents on how to talk to their kids. By the time they reach college 9/10 have sex so sticking ones head in the sand thinking "Not my little girl" is not helping.
How are an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage different?
An ectopic pregnancy is when your baby develops in your fallopian tubes rather than your uterus. A miscarriage or a spontaneous abortion is your body's way of releasing your baby on its own if it senses that its not developing correctly.
I read somewhere that after a miscarriage or abortion, the hcg remains in your blood for 6-8 weeks, so I'd wait before taking another one, or have your doc do a blood test.
I had a ectopic pregnancy at the end of Febuary. The doctor should had let you know if your hcg were going downn or still high. I was told to wait at least one period before I try to get pregnant again. If you did wait at least one period you might be pregnant. To be sure I would go get a blood test.
It is correct that it may take 6 weeks for HCG to fall back after an ectopic, but you cannot tell if you are pregnant from one level, you need a second check to see if levels are falling.
Alternatively, As you had an ectopic pregnancy, it is of course possible that you had an intrauterine pregnancy as well.
What are the symtems of amonia?
Amonia is found in urine so I presume you mean Anaemia, Anaemia happens most commonly when your iron levels are low.
The symptoms of iron deficiency are:
- Lack of energy, feeling tired and weakness.
- Pale skin on the lining of the eyes, the inner mouth, gums and the nails.
- Rapid and forceful heart beat.
- Low blood pressure with position change, from sitting to standing up.
- Finger nails become thin, brittle and white. They may grow abnormally and get a spoon-shaped appearance.
- Severe menstrual pain and bleeding.
- Tongue may become sore, smooth, shiny and reddened.
- Decreased appetite especially in children.
- Headache - frontal-
- Shortness of breath during exercise. (even during a simple exercise like walking)
- Brittle hair.
- Reduction in immunity and increased vulnerability to infection.
- A strong desire to eat nonfoods such as ice, paint or dirt. A condition called pica.
- Disturbed sleep.
- Abdominal pain.
These symptoms are quite general and could also indicate other health problems or blood disorders. Therefore, if a person has these symptoms he/she should talk to a doctor before taking any iron pills. Taking too much iron can actually be unhealthy.
How long does the abdominal pain last for if you have a ectopic pregnancy?
The abdominal pain following an ectopic pregnancy is a normal part of the healing process. The length of time the pain last depends on the severity of the ectopic pregnancy, the procedure performed, and how well your body heals.
You could be having what they call braxton hicks contractions...this is your uterus preparing for your baby to be born...Congrats on your pregnancy! Or you could be going in to Labor!
In ectopic pregnany do there will be continuous abdominal pain and bleeding?
I had an ectopic pregnancy that was removed by laparoscopy at 5 weeks 6 days. I had brown discharge (like prune juice ) for about 4 days and then i had some red discharge after that for 3 days (not like regular periods and sorry for tmi). I had pains in my right side and that was also not continuous. The main symptoms I had were one sided pain ( bearable) on and off from the 5th week. I had bloating in my stomach and my left side was extremely tender and that was when they saw the ectopic in a scan and there was lots of fluid in my pelvic area that was seen in the scan. I had pain when I sat down and was admitted immediately for laparoscopy surgery
Yes-you can still have a normal full term pregnancy.
How soon is to soon to test for pregnancy?
Home pregnancy tests are able to detect the pregnancy hormone hCG up to 5 days before your missed period. So the earliest you could possibly get a true reading from the test is 5 days before you start (or would have started if you end up being pregnant) your period.
Can a test tube baby be planted in woman who cant concive?
Well, that depends if the uterus is still intact. It may not be so by having it injured or due tu cancer or else. It isn't adviced to get pragnant by test tube if one is too old/ too young.
If so, a woman can be prepared by a hormon therapy over a few weeks, and an fertiliced egg can be implanted.
With luck, in a few weeks the woman is pregnant.

You will probably have more bleeding, bleeding after losing a pregnancy is normally quite a bit longer than normal periods, you may bleed for another week yet= Answer ==
it can take up to six weeks for the hCG levels to drop to a non pregnant state after any kind of pregnancy, delivery or loss. A non pregnant state is a level of hCG which is below 5mIU/ml. During this time it's entirely possible to take a pregnancy test and for them to show a positive result but the pregnancy has ended and the hCG levels are readjusting themselves.
After any kind of pregnancy which involves either delivery or loss, it's possible to spot and bleed for up to six weeks. Providing you are not soaking a pad in less than an hour this is considered a normal bleed.
Heavy bleeding like that described above would normally tail off over a few hours and gradually lighten but it might come back again for a few hours at a later date
More detailed answers to your questions about ectopic pregnancy might be found at www.ectopic.org.uk where they also have a fully moderated and medically overseen set of message forums for women and others whose lives have been affected by ectopic pregnancy
Normally a sperm swim to the fallopian tube, meets the egg and fertilize it there. then the egg travels down to the uterus to attach into the uterus wall. In a ectopic pregnancy the egg stays in the fallopian tube and start to grow. If not removed the fallopian tube will break and cause sterility and death to the mother. A embryo can not survive.
Is there such thing as a painless ectopic pregnancy?
I had an ectopic pregnancy and had no pain just mild discomfort (like gas) on the opposite side as the ectopic. I did have red blood spotting but only first thing in the morning they did HCG tests and my levels were not quite doubling so sent me in for a early ultrasound could not find anything with the abdominal one so did a trans vaginal one and found the baby with heartbeat in my left tube right next to my ovary. The baby measured 8wks 2 days. I was admitted and had emergency surgery to terminate the pregnancy and lost my left tube. When they went in they found that I was already bleeding internally but tube had not completely ruptured. So yes it is quite possible to have an ectopic with no pain but from what I have heard it is quite rare. While in the emergency room they keep asking me about pain every five minutes and seemed very surprised that I did not want pain medication.
Exploratory surgery is the term used when a diagnosis is suspected but x-rays/scans and other investigations have not been able to confirm the diagnosis. The only way the doctors can be sure is to actually look at the affected region themselves. Nowadays it is usually done laparoscopically which is minimally invasive and can even be performed as a day case procedure. As the doctors have an idea of what they may find, they will often consent a patient for one or more treatment procedures at the same time so that treatment can be performed immediately they are sure of the diagnosis and the patient would not have to undergo a second anaesthetic.
Usually the doctors say the age is LMP. So if they say 15 weeks, it'd be about 13 weeks since conception.
What are symptoms of eptpic pregnancy?
It can be hard to tell if you are experiencing an ectopic pregnancy because so many women don't even know they're pregnant at the time they would notice any symptoms of an ectopic. Some symptoms of tubal pregnancy such as a missed menstrual period and vaginal bleeding or spotting two weeks later are similar to the early signs of pregnancy. About 1 in 2 women who are experiencing a tubal pregnancy notice abdominal pain on one side or the other. 1 in 3 women feel light-headed and about 1 in 5 have shoulder pain on the same side as the stomach pain.
During these first weeks your bowel is lengthening so that food takes longer to pass through your body and you can glean more nutrients from it. Your uterus is undergoing changes, extra blood flow. When I was pregnant i had pains like my period was going to start any moment. At 6 weeks pregnant your body gets a huge boost in hormone levels (i always think of it as your body accepting the pregnancy). Overnight my pains disappeared and morning sickness started.
What can cause an adult to loose their teeth without any pain or bleeding?

Having one ectopic does increase ur risk for a second. Definately go to ur doctor. Chances are still good ur baby is ok
All womens body's are different and react differently to ectopic pregnancy. You need to realize though that it can be very serious and in some cases can be fatal. If you think there is any chance that you have an ectopic you need to consult a Doctor or go to an ER for your own safety. I have had very serious female related problems including cancer and 4 late mid-term miscarriages and almost lost my life more than once. Don't take any chances.
Can an ectopic pregnancy give you a urinary trackt infection?
That would not be likely as there is no real connection between what is happening in the reproductive system and the inside of the urethra except at the point where it ends to release urine. besides an ectopic pregnancy is itself not an infection.
