No such law exists. It's nothing more tan just a urban myth. In universities or college it is usually assumed (often told by the teacher during orientation) that after so many minutes, if they aren't in class you can leave without being marked absent.

In some places, it isn't a rule but the college/university may allow you to leave if the teacher doesn't arrive within 15 minutes.

In reality, you shouldn't leave unless been instructed by another member of staff or else otherwise. Teachers can be late due to various reasons like distance between building block or campuses, or stuck in traffic and can't get in on time.

If you did follow this, then you face the risk of being penalised by the college or university as it would be classed as 'bunking' and you would be marked as 'unauthorised absence'.

I do not believe it's a question of how many hours, but how much you can earn without it affecting your social security. I believe the the figure at present is $14,999.00. Any more than that can affect your social security. However, this is only for those who have retired early ( starting at age 62). Once you reach full retirement age, I do not believe they care how much you earn. Full time employment may be another story. Still, you really should contact social security for accurate information.

I know that in North Carolina, a teacher with an "A" license means that they have a Bachelors Degree. An "M" license means they have a Masters Degree. Why it is called an "A" license, I don't know.

It varies greatly from school district to school district. My district offers only a small dollar amount for unused sick days. I have been teaching for 27 years and I will get about one years worth of insurance when I retire. A much larger school district near by offers 8 years of insurance but that will end this year.

He is just new and looking at everyone checking out other classmates. He is obviously a little nervous as he studdered but if he does have a slight studder when he talks do not under any circumstances make fun of him as this is just wrong - he could be the greatest guy with a slight speech problem so don't judge.

Hm. If the lecture is actually interesting (usually not the case), you can tough it out. If the lecture is painfully boring, or is just the teacher randomly talking about stuff that does not relate to the subject at all, draw, think of something else, or something else not painfully obvious to keep you busy. If the lecture is actually important, though (as in on a test worth a quarter of your grade), you should pay attention as much as possible. The lecture may seen boring now, but you might regret blowing off later. Now, a word of warning; DO NOT FALL ASLEEP!!!!!:-0 Trust me, I fell asleep once during a boring lecture, and it was sooo embarrassing! The whole class had to wake me up by screaming at me, and my teacher kept making me answer questions for the rest of the period!

They are more likely to give hugs if you are upset and in the earlier stages of education such as 5years old until 10 years old. In my professional opinion, the older you are, the less likely they will give a hug.
