I hate when I am in my bathroom and then my pee decides to shoot sideways! Why does it do this?? It really sucks that i have to clean my pee off the walls and/or floor. Thats a janitors job! Thats why i pee on the floor and walls at school and restraunts on days when I'm mad!

Prior to using an AED you should confirm the absence of a pulse.

Administer the CANA last (after the use of up to the 3 sets of two autoinjectors) to minimize convulsions in the casualty.

10 seconds

This is important for 2 main reasons:

1.) To stop blood loss.

2.) To prevent infection.

Another reason is that the wound/cut can be covered up and therefore it looks neater.

If you touch the victim while an AED is delivering a shock, you too will receive a shock.

You can however the real question would be if it will be enough energy to resuscitate an adult. Chances are probably not. The AED should have both of the sizes of pads inside of it. If not then it needs to be serviced by the Manufacturer.

You only perform a primary assessment in CPR. The primary assessment determines the immediate threats to life. The primary assessment is checking the ABC's and if there is severe bleeding. The secondary assessment is performed after threats to life are controlled. The secondary assessment is taught in First Aid.

While there are first aid professionals, that are called in to help, ideally, everyone shoud know a little first aid. Knowing just a little can save a life, reduce suffering, etc. At a scene, the most experienced person should be directing the effort. However I'll often yield the floor and let someone else run it before I'll get into an argument with another rescuer at a scene. In that instance, I'll only intrude if the procedures being undertaken endanger the patient.

You first call 911 or poison control (1-800-222-1222). Then you check the person's vitals. You put them into recovery position if they throw up. Collect samples of the throw up and the chemicals. also keep any empty contains that may have been consumed.

AED is an acronym that stands for Automated External Defibrillator. It is used to stop the heart's motion via electric shock, effectively hitting the hearts "reset" button. The heart then, hopefully restarts with normal activity. An AED cannot be used when a heart is in asystole, a state of no electrical activity. Also, an AED cannot be used in a moving vehical as that affects the analysis.

If body core temperature is low enough it could result in hypothermia.

Well as you obviously know you start to shake when your temperature drops, this then attempts to warm you up as you are moving your body

Senior citizens are most vulnerable risk groups in quick response to emergencies and awareness to life saving procedures to mitigate the seriousness of any fatality can be considerably reduced if they are taught simple first aid procedures.

They should be placed on there back. (The supine position)

Immediately after a shock, you will wait to follow the next instruction from the AED. After a shock, it will either immediately analyze again and possibly shock again, or direct you to check the patient for a pulse, and if none resume CPR.

Well, most houses have cought on fire sometime or another.That doesnt mean it was bad. I cant say I remember when it happened at my house, but ya my house cought on fire. Luckily it didnt burn enough to call for help but that prooves people should be more carefull with fire[weather they think so or not].

BAsic and handy stuff to have ready would be a hard hat, shortwave radio, dry food, plenty of water, canvas sheet for shelter, strong boots and out door clothes, candles/a good flash lamp that doesn't need batteries, a basic but useful first aid kit.
