Many people under the sterotype "emo" like to believe that when they die they go on to a place called The Black Parade.

This was picked up in 2006's hit song "Welcome to the Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance and the video shows people of Emo Culture marching behind the band. It provides a sense of security in the emo community and unifies them.

As an Alternative/Emo/Scene/Punk whatever you want to call it I'd like to believe in the Black Parade even with no evidence to support it

If you are normal size, however, you might have a good chance if your interests match his. He will like you no matter what if you can win his attention. Flirt, be yourself, and don't try to hard.

B. Emo or Scene guys like any girls. One time, I was in Gettysburg and this Emo kid was checking me out and smiling at me. He looked like he wanted to talk to me, and I was looking as preppy as preppy gets. So just be yourself, and I'm sure Scene and Emo guys will like you =)

C. No, we don't. I don't really care about what clique or whatever you're in i don't care if prep,scene,emo etc. If i like the girl and we have a lot in common and she likes me then sure thing. On weight skinnier girls are fine with me and a little more to hold on to dosent bother me but if you're talking like obese in extreme then it bothers me a bit. I have nothing wrong with them but yeah but to answer no we don't just like skinny emo or scene girls as long as we both are happy there is no reason.That's like saying do Americans only date Americans no they don't.

Label drama is lame. People who say stuff like "preps and goths hate emos and scenesters." That's just stupid and ignorant. I'm scene and I'm really into a goth guy and he's into me too. If a guy likes you, he'll be sure to let you know. :)

That's so lame. All guys are different, some 'scene' (stupid label btw) guys LIKE fat chicks. Some like skinny chicks. All guys have their own taste. A few piercings and amazing hair doesn't change what type they like really.

C'mon looks do matter but by that i mean you don't have to be beautiful or even pretty be you and that's pretty enough. Scene is completely diffrent. Its colourful and fun, it still has that kinda emo look but its not that diffrent. No one can easily pull scene off, you have to add LOTS of coulor to every inche of ur hair. You also have to be able to so LOTS of clevelage.

I very much agree with the answer above me, bullies get a buzz out of intimitating people, making you feel weaker than you are, most of my friends are emo's, they are amazing people, you should not feel intimidated by what some freak bully has to say, if you ignore them then their buzz will go away, soon they will stop and move onto someone else, just remember nobody's perfect and we all have our faults, but that is no reason to be bullied, ignore them and you'll be fine, and by the way, emo's rock. ;)

most people are understanding of the emo society heaps of them have 'regular' friends... but thre are those who just dont understand those people ... Also because Punks and Goths think that emo's stole their sence of style. And if you look up 'emo' it will surlly tell you that emo is more like soft punk in some ways. So most punks and goths don't like them since their more popular and they have been acussed of stealing they're style and type of music.

They have made depression a conversation piece, and have most likely offended many, by making self harm a fashion statement when most emos are very normal happy people that would never do such a thing. hope this also helps. understand?

another thing is that emos came to be through the media, they think they listen to hardcore independent metal band who has no talent besides being born naturally to look like a moron. the media has corrupted them into thinking dressing, looking, and being like everybody else is now an individual theme for them

Scene is better then emo. When you decide you want to be emo, your whole personality changes, it changes who you are, who you were, and all your plans for who you might have wanted to be. Being emo shows others that your hurt inside, your colorless wordrobe shows your emotion, and cutting your self shows your hurt, and all your hard times. Sceneing is better because you are willing to try their "ways" you dont feel willing into having to feel depressed, sad, and wearing black, and cutting yourself.

Well, because I hated the world(I'm not emo anymore, but I still hate the world). The world's not very fun. You eat, you live, you die. Simple. What's the use of laughing anyways? The world isn't good and never will be in my opinion. I soon bought me an emo wristband, emo gloves, and I didn't go to get a haircut as often.

They have long bangs and straight hair on the sides and back of their head; hair fringe. they have jeans and studded belts and band shirts and lip piercings. try google images and you might find some emo images.

In my personal experience, emo originated from the genre of music, emocore. If you are emo you don't have to cut yourself, be depressed, or be overly emotional. There are many stereotypes for emo people. Just like there are stereotypes for any other clique. For example, that jocks are dumb, or popular girls are mean.

By being true to who you are in Christ and sweet, but not a doormat. You have to have your own original style (me, I wear the chokers, the gloves, like to wear alot of black and red, and am constantly looking for ways to improve on my unique look).
