The most common format for a report is IMRAD: Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion. Reports do not have to follow this format but this structure is standard.

1. Plug the flash drive into your USB port.

2. Once the computer recognizes it, go to My Computer (or Computer in Windows 7 & 8) & click on your flash drive's icon.

3. Once inside your flash drive's folder, follow these steps to organize them:

3a. Right click inside the window of your flash drive's files, hover over New & click Folder. Name the folder (optional), & it's simply drag & drop the files you want from their locations into the new folder.

3b. Repeat to make multiple folders inside your flash drive.

If you ever see a file saved that is .jpg.jpg this is most likely because during the saving process you added .jpg to the end of the name. The computer already knows what it is going to save it as unless you have disabled that setting so adding it to the name when saving just makes it write it over again.

A "null" extension usually means that the file contains no data or is corrupted and/or was corrupted during the transmission of the file.

Windows cannot open this file because it does not know what the format is. There are a few software applications available to possibly convert the "null" to something readable, but those cost money and have only one purpose.

The best bet is to have the person who sent you that file resend it in another format ... possibly as a PDF as that seems to be a good universal application that most everyone can access.

In newer versions of Windows, like Win 7, select "Bitmap Image", then select a location and file name, and click save.

As far as you have a local copy of the file on computer there is no way you can stop people from doing so. There are multiple programs which allow to remove protection from pdf files.

With online documents you can choose permission, and forbid people to save local copies.
