You should first check the Kelly Blue Book value at www.kbb.com. after that I would go to a local dealer and see what they suggest the trade-in value is and conpare the two. Most dealers use the KBB values anyway so they should be the same but may have some insite on demand.
The the interior rear cabin on the driver side (right above the wheel) there is a small panel. Open it up and you will see a black lid that you need to pull out by squeezing the edges. you will then see the filter. note the orientation, i believe the airflow should be pointing up
What power point? Is it a fuse or a breaker, they are not the same. What do you want to know?
Most people spend around 60% of their income in household expenses. The expenses include things such as mortgage, utilities and food items.
if the body is in good condition id say yes. check your wheel bearings and control arms as well that could get expensive pretty quick.
There should be a sticker on the underside of the trunk lid - that's where it was on my 92 grand marquis
Gear is part of the outboard CV jount housing and is not separately replaceable. Geberally entire shaft known as halfshaft is replaced.
If it has those transmission without a transmission pan then all you can do is drain the fluid and refill it back up with fresh one. The ones I have seen are like Hondas, their filters are built inside the transmissions, so in order to replace the filter is to rebuilt the transmission. Those Mazda transmission should use Mercon III transmission fluid but check in your manual book to make sure. The Honda transmissions uses special transmission fluid from the Honda Dealer only.
Check the transmission cooler. The one on mine cracked and the mechanic told me that mine was the third one that week that he'd replaced. The new one comes with rubber bushings to cut down on vibration.
Ford will fix this problem at no cost to you. I have a 2008 Ford Escape and my transmission cooler is leaking, causing my transmission to slip. I took my car into Park Cities Ford this morning and they printed out a TSP (Customer Satisfaction Program 09B10) dated March 2010. The form states that the "Transmission Fluid cooler in your vehicle may develop a crack and leak transmission fluid. If not repaired, this leak may result in rough/harsh shifting and potential damage to the transmission." "Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to perform the repairs under this program on your vehicle free of charge (parts and labor). The Customer Satisfaction Program will be in effect until August 31, 2010 regardless of mileage. Coverage is automatically transferred to subsequent owners." If you have previously had this repair done, you may be eligible for a refund. To initiate a refund request, they ask that you give your paid original receipt to your dealer before August 31, 2010.
you may have wires crossed if some one has installed a new radio system recentley My Villager did this a couple of years ago. After countless hours in the shop it ended up being the rear taillight. The lead contacts on the bulbs were touching one another and shorting the system.

Trouble code P0716 means:Input/turbine speed sensor circuit range/performance
Not hood latch, but hood alignment. I own a 1994 F150. I even own the "book". The passenger side of the hood is fine. The driver side had a bad hood spring link assembly. If I tried to close the hood, this assembly would sometimes lock up and cause the hood to be bent. Must I buy a hood to make the adjustment or can I adjust and re bend the hood by sitting on the side that is bent?
you will need to replace the bad hood spring and then the hood.
The height of the 2005 Ford Escape is 5 ft. 9.7 in. (69.7 in.).
The Ford Escape is equipped with a factory transmission cooler. If you look into the lower opening of the front bumper you should see it mounted there.
The maximum payload of the 2005 Ford Escape is 1101 lbs..
depending on the car, it can mean a couple of things. For example, the hand brake is not fully disengaged, or the sensor isn't registering that it is disengaged, it could also mean that you have one of your primary brake lights out or in some models, it could indicate that there is a malfunction or deficency in the brake system in which case you should have it checked.
Check to see if covered under warantee first, but probably around $350 Well, there are 3 cats on ford escapes. 2 near the engine, which come as one unit and retail for about $1500.00 just for the part itself. Then theirs one by the xhaust which costs(w/labor) near $560.00
In most cases, the brakes will function fine even if the ABS is not working (you just won't have the ABS feature). If you have to exert more pressure than normal on the brakes, you can be looking at an issue with the brake booster or some other part not necessarily associated with the ABS system. It sounds like the ABS light might be a secondary symptom of a larger problem. I would recommend taking the vehicle to a qualified shop asap.
first you need to take the brake caliper off and hang them with a wire or plastic strap then take the rotor off you need to take the axle nut off to that is located in the middle of the rotor, once you got it off you need a rubber mallet to hit it until is loose, now you need to take the bolts and nuts of the struts there should be two of them and then take the nut off the lower ball joint then there is a small nut that hold the assembly take it off then hammer out the bolt. once is out you need a ball joint separator that looks like a big fork you can rent this at autozone, once you got the assembly out you need to bring it to the auto shop or nearest car quest to get it press out (wheel bearing) and have them press the new one in, it's about 30-35 dollars to do it. then do the prosses backward, hope this help im in a hurry about to rapelace the whole suspension on my sis-in law 02 escape need a major job.... bye the way this is tsog..
I had this too and found the answer today...apparently LINK PINS!
