Here is a picture showing the fuel filter on a 1998 ford festiva trio. It is near the battery.

it is behind the lights, accessed from inside the boot, behind the side covers.

Not sure, but I paid £1000 for a 1999 1.25 zetec last year with 44'000 miles on the clock.

As it's 10 year old I now find I've got to buy a new timing belt (They need changing after around 10 years or 100'000 miles) and that's gonna cost a couple of hundred to fix, so bear that in mind if you're buying one. Wish I'd knew at the time!

basically you will have to disconnect the battery so disconnect the negative terminal (this will have a - sign on the battery next locate the horn witch is normally in the engine bay by the rad on the passenger or left hand side there will be a bolt holding the horn on take it off then there should be two connections change them over to the new horn connect the battery back up make sure the horn works then if it does put the bolt back on that holds the horn on and make sure its tight then job done

First of all remove the auxillary drive belt splash guard (underneath engine) and remove auxillary drive belt (release tension by turning the nut in the spring loaded tensioner anti clockwise(13mm)). Now disconnect alternator wiring(remove batt term to prevent shorting against body) and remove alternator. Remove air filter box and the thermostat housing is now visible (Black plastic with two hoses attached) Disconnect hoses and remove housing via 4 10mm bolts. You are finally at the thermostat.

Do you have the original ignition key?? Tape the old ignition key to the cowling around the ignition, then put new key in the ignition and see if it will run. The reason for this is there is a transponder chip in the old key that needs to be picked up by the rim module around the ignition barrel. If it works, take keys apart and swap transponder chip . A door lining is bought as a flat pack that consists of the two uprights, approx 6'8, a piece that goes over head, approx 2'6 and the door stoppers . A door liner is fitted to a hole in the wall by leveling and trimming to size etc whereas the door frame is already constructed and you generally build the wall around the door frame.

The weight of a Ford Fiesta can vary by the different model type or the year. The range of the weight is between 2,000 to 3,200 pounds.

Seeing as no-one even tried to answer my question, I just had to attempt to do it myself.

And, yes, I succeeded without dropping or lifting the engine:

I drained the coolant by removing the bottom radiator hose. Removed the coolant expansion tank. From lack of experience, I loosened the top idler of the grooved belt and removed the belt. (This was not necessary, as the tensioner is situated between the aircon pump and the water pump. All I had to do was to put pressure on the tensioner and the belt would have slipped off.) Removing the water pump was easy enough: three bolts with a 10mm ring spanner and the old pump was pulled out without any hassle. Removed the remnants from the impeller which was stuck in the engine. Cleaned the gasket face on the engine and installed the pump with new gasket. Tightened the three bolts and then sweated a little to get the new belt on. The tensioner spring is quite stiff and dfficult to de-tensify, so I used the idler as semi-tensioner to put some extra slack on the belt by loosening its mounting bolts just enough to tilt it inward. This enabled me to slip the belt over every groove on all pullies. I then tightened the idler fully.

The coolant was salvaged, filtered, and put back into the system. This is a good indicator that no air locks were generated.

I will have to remove the belt again in order to replace the tensioner bearing and idler bearing, as the car has done high mileage on ots original bearings (230000km).

This procedure should also work on South African Ikons and Bantam bakkies fitted with Rocam engines.

The cam belt, or timing belt on a 1.6 Ford Fiesta Zetec S is a belt that does not have to be changed unless there are problems. This is one part of the motor that should be left alone unless, the vehicle jumps time. The cam belt can be inspected through the removal of an inspection plate. If the belt is not showing any signs of wear, it should be fine for over 100,000 miles or even the life of the vehicle.

What kind? like the circle kind? Venndiagram?

Does it work on number 4 though? As mine does the same thing. And is due to the blower or something that needs looking at. Number 4 comes straight from the engine which is why it will work.

You need to be specific as to year or Mk of Fiesta and as to which engine is fitted as they're all different.
