Most all timing marks are located on the harmonic balancer. A timing tab is located on the sheet metal that overhangs the balancer. Harmonic balancer is the lowest round device on an engine that has the belts running around it.

somethings wrong still if you light is on most likely has to to do with the EGR valve or a Vacuum leak

If its not a PCM with electronic engine idle control. Most of today veichles you can not adjust idle. What motor do you have cummins? Like can people be a little more specific??

Pull the Spout Connector Before changing Idle Screw and make sure its up to operating temp then turn the idle screw on the Throttlebody.Replace the Spout Connector then all should be well,If you disconnect the Battery for any length of time you must remove the Spout Connector again to allow it to Relearn the Position.

I have a 2009 Mustang GT running a 4.6L engine, 5-speed manual transmission and a 3.73 rear end. The dealer added a Ford Racing cold air kit, and Ford Racing suspension kit. The car burns strictly premium fuel due to the performance tuning that comes with the cold air kit. So, this GT is equivalent to a bone stock Bullitt Mustang. Ford limits the top speed of the car to the maximum odometer reading. That is, 240 kmh, or 149.13 mph. The car easily achieves that speed. I try not to redline the engine. So I shift up at about 5500 rpm. Running in 4th gear to 5500 rpm takes you to about 143 mph. Shifting into 5th gear, the rpm drops to about 3600 and you quickly arrive at 4000 RPM and 149 mph, the factory set mph limit. This car handles beautifully at that speed. And, 4000 RPM is just a jog in the park for the venerable little 4.6L engine. You just want to set the cruise control and keep going. But, the other drivers might not understand. NOTE: I only do this with a perfectly maintained car on dry, empty, newly surfaced, lighted freeways, with concrete walls on both sides, when there are NO other cars. Except camaros, of course. Be careful.

I assume you are talking about the waste that is excreted from the burning of the gas. So mustangs don't directly kill mustangs but they do produced that waste that can kill mustangs.; however, the horse would have to inhale large quantities.

I assume you are asking about how long it takes to build a Shelby clone from a standard fastback? The time it takes is directly related to your wallet. You need to research what parts are needed to make the full conversion, purchase them, install them, have your car prepped for paint, painted...

Shelby Mustangs had different hoods, chassis supports, drivetrain options, scoops, taillights, emblems, suspension, fog lamps... The list is not a short one. Also depends on how thorough you are going. You could just throw a new hood on, add some scoops and emblems, repaint it and call it good. However, you wont fool anyone who knows what they are looking at. Judging by the question you asked, its going to take you quite some time. Good luck.

If you're talking about just up through GT models, the new 2011 5.0L V8 is the biggest. It produces 411 horsepower, the most powerful GT Mustang ever built. If you're talking about ALL Mustangs, the most powerful and big would be the 5.4L Supercharged V8 available in the Shelby GT500. It produces 445 horsepower. And it is SUPER FAST!!!!!!!

The newer Ford Mustang Gt's are V-8's and have a GT in the gascap rather than Phil Clark's Mustang Running horse emblem. They also have GT on the front in front of the doors on each side--again, rather than the pony emblem. Usually some upgrades are included, including upgraded wheels, leather, and stereo. They also have the My Colour Dash board. There is also a Mustang GT/CS (California Special) with side scoops to the rear of the doors on each side, like Phil Clark's original Scoop idea on Mustang I prototype. GT/CS also has the Scoop on the hood and low profile front end.

since you did not go into any great detail about the noise i am going to guess that there is a leak somewhere between the air filter and the intake. possibly the throttle body area.

sure it will. BUT, to make it work with MY'00 electronics, you'll need the computers, all sensors, the exhaust pipes ('00 cars have 4 O2 sensors), the fuel system, etc. if you need just the long block to replace your dead motor, use all the old systems on top. otherwise, unless you get a complete 'oo stang, it's going to be easier to swap in a 5.0. also if you use the the long block version it is great if you just want the same performance but in 98 ford changed the intake manifold and inproved horse power by 25hp so if you use the long block verion of this install you will lose the benifit of that improvement cause the 98 and newer is a diffrent from a 94 to 97 have fun but just wanted to let you be more informed ------------------------------------------------------- >sure it will. Well, you *CAN* do almost anything, but would it be reasonable or worth it, not likely.

So, you would have to do a LOT of sheet metal work and welding, you need new rear glass, a new trunk lid, the rear seats are different, you would need the interior hardware and trim like the air extractors, etc.
