check on the inside of the door, if that's gone, look on another door same model. and its spelled "DOES"
There are 2 on the engine, there is one next to the thermostat housing that sends a signal to the engine computer that takes a 1 inch wrench and there is another one that sends the signal to the Dashboard gauge and is located on the rear of the engine on the passenger side of the vehicle and you need to take off the cabin engine housing to get to this, this takes a 11/16 wrench and has a push on plug, be sure to de-pressurize the system prior to taking off these units, a ground will send the gauge to the hot side and an open switch will keep it on the cool side, so test the wire to be sure the gauge works first.
about 58 cents per mile
3/2/10 bjs268 added: Actually, 58 cents per mile would only cover the fuel, figuring an average of 5 miles per gallon and diesel being around 2.85 DOE national average. Don't forget that .58 per mile DOES NOT include any insurance, maintenance, office space allocation, other overhead (if any) and most of all....profit.
So be careful when figuring what it realistically costs to run that truck 1 mile down the road.
This engine will be fuel injected.
This means that if the engine will not idle at the correct speed there is something wrong with the fuel injection system.
The most common problem leading to a high idle is a vacuum leak.
The second most common problem is a bad or fouled spark plug
If neither of these is the problem a scan with a correct tool may tell what component has failed .
The electric fuel pump is inside the fuel tank
the layer of paint just above the rust
What relay are you trying to replace? (what does it operate?) horn
What's the question? If they are not operating correctly buy a bottle of commercially available fuel injection cleaner at your local auto parts store - use it per the directions. Use a second bottle if the first yields no results. If THAT doesn't work you need a professional mechanics help.
First check the fuse to see if it is blown. If the fuse is good, then it is either the blower motor switch, blower motor Resistor Pack, or the Blower Motor itself. It can also be bad wiring. Apply 12 volts directly to the blower motor to see if it is good. If it is good and the wiring it OK, then it is the switch or resistor pack. I would bet on the Resistor Pack being the culprit. The switch rarely goes bad..
This kind of thing can be obtained from any auto parts store.

It sounds like your compressor was killed. What more than likely happend is that your airbag got a hole or crack in it causing the compressor to work overtime. I would recommend a conversion kit. This is a permanent fix to suspension problems. Try Strutmasters.com that is where I did my conversion about 5 years ago and have been very happy ever since. Good Luck
