Well, normally, for the first litter, she should have 3-6 puppies. I have a German shepherd, and she had 10 puppies! I know that's alot. Anyway, as long as you check up on your puppies and the mom too, everyday, for a while, and as long as they are healthy and happy, they should be fine. I've never heard of a GSD without color in their eyes... lol. Not sure what you mean. Do you mean colors like blue? If so, then the only way is if they are albino. GSD's typically have amber eyes

Take tampon tubes and feed his ears into them. Then use adhesive tape to wrap the tubes and secure them in place. Remove the tubes every few days to let the ears breathe and check on their progress.
