It depends on what he is into, fishing rod or fishing books, tools never go a miss, if all else fails do what I am going to do and that is ask him, I would rather I got him something he would rather have than waste money on something he doesnt, and my husband is very hard to buy for. Another thought would be a personalized money clip: useful with a bit of sentiment.

maybe you could get your mum to take you to your local spa and get a makeover that might me fun and then have a disco after so you could show your new look too everyone and then have a sleepover afterwards?

another really fun thing to do is to take a few friends to a hotel or a resort and spend the night there.
