How do you change antifreeze in 2002 gmc Yukon?
Go bu a Haynes Auto repair Manual.
Consult your local library's on line resources for auto repair.
Find out how much coolant your car holds. Buy thatamount of ready mix antifreeze or alf that amount in un-mixed antifreeze. Most locales in the continental US require a minimium or 50% water to 50% un pre-mixed coolant for protection against freezing and boiling.
On a cold engine with the battery disconnected.
Drain what coolant is in the engine; open (they are usually reverse threaded so turn it to the left to open it; right to close) the petcock valve located on the bottom of your radiator on either the left or right side tank. Drain coolant into a large bucket. Sometimes you have a petcock valve that has a little pipe on it; this is for a hose to better drain the radiatior.
The coolant in the engine will be draining through the lower radiator hose into the radiator and into your large bucxket. To hurry things along you might remove the lower raiator hose from the engine (expect an uncontrolled flood so have large drain pan in place to capture the coolant) or just remove the cap on the radiator.
After draining is complete make sure the petcock is closed and all hoses are re-installed and tight. Turn the vehicle heater on full "hot".
Refill the radiator slowly; the little cooling tubes on modern radiators run side to side so it will take a while to get all the air out. you'll see this happening with the bubbles that show up at the radiator filler neck.
When the bubbles stop that just means there is still air trapped in the radiator and the engine; so start the engine. You can see when the the thermostat opens by the way the water level goes down in the radiator filler neck; when this happenes start pouring more mixed coolant into the radiator. When the level stops falling and the radiator is full put the radiator cap back on tightly and fill your radiator from the radiator overflow tank to the "cold" mark. Run the engine till it's FULLY warm while you monitor the level in the overflow tank. Keep the fluid level on the cold mark; when it stops falling fill to hot mark. Dispose of your coolant in a environmentally safe way. Clean up; You're done.
Hmmm.... If you have hot water (coolant actually) entering the heater core and, with the heater on, get no heat and the return water is cold, it would follow that water is not
being circulated through the core. Either the core is plugged and needs to be flushed, the temp control cable is not operating the control on the heater core, or there may be a valve somewhere in the heat system which stops water from circulating through the heater core. This was done on some vehicles but I don't really know why. Perhaps to isolate the heating system from the AC system.
Are you sure the AC is not "stuck" on?
That's about the best I can do for you. Hopefully one of the others can
enlighten us further.
What size are the factory speakers in a 2000 GMC sierra 1500 Extended Cab pickup?

How much weight can you load in a GMC Sierra?
Owner's manual.
AnswerLook at the rear wheel nuts. If you have five, the truck can carry half a ton. If you have six it can carry three quarters of a ton. If you have dual rear wheels, it can carry one ton. Before you start moving alot of weight with your truck, make sure the brakes are in good shape. Carrying weight isn't much good if you can't slow it down! Good luck and be careful. Answerlook on label on door jamb.. 1500 is usually 5700 GVWR Gross Vehicle Weight Rating 2500 is 7200 GVWR HD 2500 is 8600 GVWR... just look at the labelWill 10 wide rims fit with your 14.5 wide tires?
For off road that is the rock bottom minimum. 12 wide would be recommended if your truck is to see the highway. Wheels that are too narrow make the tire crown in the middle of the tread. This causes only the center of the tire to contact the pavement. Which causes tires to wear out down the center, making tire replacement even sooner. Not the mention, not be able to hold the truck in the road. Most people think, okay I'll just let the air pressure down in my tires so they will get a flatter footprint. Yes, maybe, but you'll have to drop them so low that the pressure that you arrive at won't be safe nor applicable for highway or street travel. If a tire shop mounts your 14.5"s on your 10 wide wheels, make sure they don't rip the beads. These tires must be compressed pretty far down when mounting the top bead. Make sure the shop is qualified or express to the manager if they rip a bead, they bought the tire. BEFORE MOUNTING! Good Luck!
