How often should a wheel alignment be done?
Alignments the manufacture suggests every 6 months. I work at a place that does alignments and I only do them if I see irregular tire wear (might be too late at this point), or if the truck pulls, but the alignment could be out and the vehicle goes straight down the road. So there is no Good answer. I would at least get an alignment done when new tires are installed and/or new front end parts are done. Hope this helps.
How do you bleed the cooling system on a 2002 GMC sonoma?

How do you put in a heater core in a 1995 sanoma?
I put one in an older model 4 cyl - there is a blank plug in the driver's side of the engine block - it's really thin and just pressed in place. You tap it out with a long srift of some sort (try not to drive it into the engine block). Then, the block-heater element is inserted and a bolt on the outside is tightened up which locks it in place. If you buy the block heater new, it should come with a little generic flier on how to install it. Oh, and the plug was towards the back of the engine, but it may be in a different location on a 95. How do you replace the fuel filter located on a 1995 GMC Sonoma?
I take the old filter out with the ring still attached and after measuring the location of it on the old filter I carefully tap that ring off. Measure the location on the fne filter and slide the ring back on tapping it carefully to the same location as on the old filter. Then reinstall the filter sliding the lines into each end and then attach the ring to the frame with the bolt, tighten the fitting on each line, start the vehicle and check for leaks.
The fuel filter is attached to the frame of the truck right below the door post of the driver side door. It is an in-line filter and is held on by a plastic strap that holds the filter as well as the return fuel line to the gas tank and (I believe) the brake lines that go to the rear wheels. I was not able to slide the old fuel filter out of the plastic clamp when I tried to change the filter, but there may be a trick that I don't know about. Anyone else know how to slide the filter out of the plastic clamp?
Most Sonoma's have the fuses and relays under the hood driver side under a plastic cover.
