The complete headlight bucket assembly comes out so you can replace the bulbs easily. Open the hood, stand in front of said headlight, notice two locking tabs sticking up behind the headlight bucket, with a little effort pull up and wiggle each tab out, now wiggle the entire headlight assembly out in the open, twist and remove headlight socket in question, reverse proceedure to install.

If the truck is fuel injected, the fuel pump is in the gas tank. The easiest thing to do is unbolt the bed of the truck where it meets the cab. (You can also use a jack to lift the back of the truck up off the ground and drop the gas tank that way.) Once you have access to the gas tank, you simply remove the old pump and install the new. You are lucky, on a pickup it is really not a bad job because you just have to lift the bed instead of jacking the thing up and working on your stomach. It will be harder if you have a full tank of gas and I would get a buddy to help. GL... My 1993 Dakota Fuel Pump was about $180 at Advanced it seems, but that was 5 years ago.

On the 5.0 liter and 5.8 liter V8 engines , # 1 on the distributor cap faces to the REAR

and slightly towards the drivers side

On the 4.9 liter straight 6 cylinder , # 1 on the distributor cap faces AWAY from the

engine

had to do this a few months ago you have to drop the whole fuel tank ,,its small so its not a big deal but to change a filter you'll have to do that , i had the screen clog on mine

You pull your turn signal lever towards you, and you should hear a click. Make sure your truck is on. When you have done that you will see a blue light in the middle of your speedometer and RPM gauge. It is a picture of a light with beams coming off the light. That is how you know that you have turned them on.

I have a 97 sonoma and the relays are located in the glove compartment there are three of the them located in a box on the upper left side of the glove compartment. the fuse is by in the drivers side door in the panel of the counsil. if you are having problems with your lights not working correctly it could be your light switch they do go bad i just replaced mine I thought it was a relay but the switch is what was bad.

This is a hydraulic clutch, there is not adjustment.

An observed low pedal is caused by:

1) bad master or

2) bad slave

3) air in fluid - fill and bleed

4) Driver error.

Replace all if you want it fixed.

An observed high pedal is caused by

1) Driver error.

2) Worn clutch disc/pressure plate.

Inability to make the clutch release is caused by:

1) Air in the system, needs to be filled, bled, and filled.

2) Faulty Master or slave cyliner, replace both and bleed.

3) Fused clutch. Flat tow or wheel lift tow the truck to a fairly high speed (above 40 MPH) in neutral, then, while still moving, shift into high forward gear and drop the clutch like it's on fire. Truck now works OK, but expect disc failure and replacement within 12 months.

there is no fill tube or dipstick if it is a manual, there is a check plug on the transmission you have to check it with usually a Allen wrench of 3/8 rachet.
