As simple as this may sound, look for a disconnected or broken wire under the seat. Sometimes car washes will shove a vacuum hose under the seat and rip things apart. The fuse will still be good, but the connection is broken.

My 2002 has the same problem but if I put the heat control to max it produces heat. Just can't use the auto feature.

To reset the abs light the fault that brought it on in the first place needs to be repaired, once this has been done you need to output the codes again, this is done by grounding the TBS terminal in the diagnostic box. once the codes have been out putted you need to pump the brake pedal as fast as possible, i think it was 10 pumps within 10 seconds

you have to change a sensor they burn out when there is no fuel running through them the sensor is called map

rear differential is low on fluid replace the fluid in the diff. or if that dont work you may have to replace it

Driver's Side front to rear 1,3,5,7

Passenger's side front to rear 2,4,6,8

Drivers side post cat converter. If there is are misfire codes highly recomend replacing the plugs but at this point the cats may be damged anyways.

Turn key on, do not start. Then push the gas pedal all the way to the floor 3 times being sure to let all the way off of it each time. Then turn key off and then start the engine.

Check you heater blower motor.

This sounds more like the common blend door problem on this model. The plastic door is driven by a DC motor that is geared too strong for the application. Over time the motor will overstress the door and break the connector. The same plenum box is used on the F150 and you can find information on the problem by searching for that model also. There is a video available on YouTube showing how to diagnose and repair the system. It is an expensive repair at the dealer, but you can repair it yourself with minimal skills. I think its behind the plastic on the back passenger side. Between the cargo glass and the passenger side back seat door glass.

The Expansion valve is located in the Right rear of the Yukon. The interior panels will need to come off to be able to reach the heating and air unit that the expansion valve is located in. Most of the panels have push in clips. I have a cool panel removing tool that slides in and you squeeze and it pops the clips out. Then you need to separate the airbox ( There are lots of clips and a few screws, some of the screws are in recessed holes) so make sure you have them all out . I had to unbolt the whole box to reach one screw that was located at the lower front near the wheel well. I did NOT have to disconnect the heater hoses from underneath to switch the valve. but the AC lines underneath of course needs to be disconnnected. it's best to pressure wash under your Yukon in the area underneath that you will be disconnecting the lines from as to not let any dirt and debri contaminate your ac lines. Also check and make sure your air doors are properly working while you have the unit exposed, This is easy to do their are two electric motor control actuators on the AC unit, Switch the heat control from hot to cold etc and the up and down controls from the drivers comp ( For the Rear Air and heat) and make sure their doing their job. The expansion valve is just below the blower motor. I took off alot of the components ( Like the electric actuators, blower motor and also slid out the heater core to be able to get the air box separated) also you will need to be patient with reassembly as the doors that the electric acuators operate will need to be lined back up so everything goes back together right. I was able to slide the whole evaporator out and the expansion valve is mounted on it. I flushed the evaporator out when I had it out.

This is quite a job but if you have some decent basic mechanical abilty you should be able to do it and save a ton of money.

Have the vehicle scanned to determine the problem

Go buy a Haynes Auto Repair manual for your car. Roughly you do the following You have to disconnect the battery, drain the coolant or what's left of it. Remove the fan from the pump, remove the se4rpentine drive belt, you may have to remove the fan shroud, remove anything that's in your way so you can get to the pump, remove pump. Clean the areas the pump gaskets were, spotless. take new pump. Read the instrutions on the gasket dressing tube, bottle whatever; put gasket dressing on the faces where the gaskets go, following the aforementioned instructions put the new gaskets (should have come with new water (coolant) pump; if not wipe off the dressing you just applied and go get the gaskets. Now you have gaskets, you did take the new pump with you to make sure they are the right ones right? Re-apply dressing, re-install pump, and everything else in reverse order or removal. Clean up the mess, Go wash your hands.
