yes pythons cross beedable
Absolutely not! Some may be, such as corn snakes and king snakes, but this is very risky and very difficult. Ground hogs never attack unless they are incredibly bored but if they are they can take out a mid-sized dog. The best way to ensure that this doesnt happen is to prevent the groundhog from being bored by dropping treats and chewtoys down their holes. If they do plan on attacking they will dig holes just below the surface and when the dog falls in devour it. You if you see small depressions or dead grass in an area of your lawn that's where the ground hogs have layed traps. My advice is to keep your dog off the lawn until you've hired a professional ground hog hunter. Call the groun hog help line and ask fro Steve he can get you in touch with someone in your area.

Do groundhogs live in central Texas?
I was driving on Hiway 21 about fifteen miles east of Bastrop last weekend. Broad daylight. An animal that looks just like these pix crossed the road in front of me. I travel quite a bit, but I have never seen a ground hog in central Texas.
Note: There was a terrible wildfire a few months back that destroyed huge areas just a few miles from where I was. Possibly the animal was displaced.
His coat seemed healthy and he looked to be over 10 pounds. Hmmmmm.
